My 2020 GLC 300 asked me on the display to update its software and i clicked ok!! Now the display is black and off and noting works. The radio stayed on but i cant change the station or adjust the volume and cant turn off the radio or control any other function like the nav!! Has anyone else run into this problem? I am able to start and drive the vehicle but the display is disabled and radio is stuck in the on setting and volume control wont work along with stations cant be changed. my display in front of the wheel works but it too has limited functions.

Sounds like you'll need to see the MB service center.

 

Your right!!! But They have no interest in warranty work. My wife's car has 2 recalls on it and they wont respond to my request to service it either. Both of my Mercedes are under warranty and the local dealership is dragging their feet!!!!

 

I agree, change dealerships even if you have to drive a distance and try again.

I have updated from the the auto update in my 2020 GLC and also using the web version of the updates. I even did the web update over the auto update. I did this because with the maps you can control the area you want to update.

If you have never tried to use the web updates here is my post and others on the subject. If might work for you. The car should recognize the UBS drive once put in place. Good Luck
