Cabin filter replacement procedure/WIS - 2020 - need help

Does anyone have the procedure/WIS for cabin filter replacement for the 2020 model? MY20 has the 12v socket on the plate under the glove box. It seems different from the pre-facelift model.

Thanks!

Try this one, it cant be that hard. I did it a few time already and its relatedly easy, not that easy as with ML where I could pull cabin filters from outside.

Don't see how that would make it so different. Just one more thing to disconnect when removing the under glove box panel. You will have to disconnect a light and a temp sensor too.

It should be easy job. But as no one actually mention the 12 socket removal, so I asked just in case.

It seems it is straight forward. Thanks

not sure if similar to the X253 GLC but on my W205 C sedan, it is quite a back workout for the activated charcoal cabin air filter/fine particulate filter

You drop the panel on the passenger side footwell, there is a sliding lock door, you slide it and pull the filter out.

Be mindful of the air flow direction, there are two holes on top of the filter, that side faces up. To make sure it is facing the right direction and slotted correctly when you insert it, you can shine a light inside the air tunnel, there will be two round pointy plastic tips that gets inserted inside the hole of the air filter.

Hope that helps.

I think the 2020 GLC 300 (facelift) is equal to 2019 W205(facelift) model. The replacement of cabin filter (underneath the glove box) is different than the pre-facelift model.
