Sport Caliper Piston Dust Boot

Good Morning!

Changing brakes yesterday I found a dust boot that was oddly deformed like it wasn't pushed in all the way and I would like to replace it

2017 GLC300 4Matic - Sport Package
I've searched online for hours and called every part store in town and no one can seem to tell me what the part number is or where to find it.

I live in Canada and curious if someone here knows where I can locate it. I would like to get it changed before any damage is done to the piston seal.

Thanks!

Hi,
I tried to find the replacement boot on FCPEURO, ECSTUING and Rockauto- Rockauto has a boot but "not for sports models"...
However, the boot in the picture (I assume you are talking about the upper one) does not seem deformed. It is not sitting flash with the caliper surface.
I would try to block the brake line and remove the piston- it 8s possible that the boot does not need to be replaced, just adjusted/seated into the caliper.
In any case, if you have found a replacement you would still had to remove the piston anyway.
Good luck!

A piece came off after I removed the pad. It looked like it was squished.

I'm thinking that this may be what you need:

Disc Brake Caliper Piston Boot - Mercedes-Benz (000-421-19-00)

Google it and check the fitment.

I called the dealer this morning.
You are correct that is the part.
Has to come from Germany or I can buy a new caliper. For 912.31 + tax.

Thank you!

Possible to get a rebuilt caliper and use the seal from it?

I've placed the seals on order. Been advised 7-10days for arrival from the dealer. I've ordered extra to keep on hand.

I actually really do not like dealing with my local dealer, the vehicle has been in the shop more times then I care to discuss and always had poor service. The last time was for a blown piston, no engine replacement just rebuilt. which seems to be a common issue with these vehicles. So I was hoping for another part from absolutely anywhere else that ships to Canada but was unable to source it.

I noticed Raybestos might have a kit part number wk454
https://www.partsengine.ca/WK454-vp-raybestos-267.aspx
In the fitment notes it states "w/ sport package, wo/ sport package" if I was a betting man I would take a chance and order it but sadly I want the correct part the first time.
