Hello and help!!

new to this mbworld!
i just a glc 200 suv 2020 with little info from previous owner (elderly person) this is a silly question to ask but…
I have been able to set the car up and the remote works well but still can’t get it to lock/unlock without using the remote and do it manually. My question is, is it disabled somehow or it is just not a feature available to my car. I find confusing that i dont need a key to start the car but still need to use the remote to open the door as my previous less expensive older car use to allow it

Try lastvin.com with your VIN to see if you have the feature. Or post a clear well lit photo of the exterior driver’s door handle.
