Open pano sunroof but not sunshade

Is it possible to open the pano sunroof without retracting the sunshade? Seems to be an all or nothing set-up

You can only vent the roof. If you push up on the lever, the shade should retract a few inches and then the roof opens in the vent position.

In order to prevent stretching of the material, whenever the sunroof opens, whether it is opened fully or popped up in the vent position, it will roll back the fabric fully first. Different if you had a regular sunroof since that is not a mesh fabric and has vents built-in so that it can stay closed while the sunroof is popped.

I thought the slight opening was simply to let the air out (vent).

If you meant ventilation mode, yup, it also adjusts the opening based on speed but I think you already knew that : )

This is very annoying, drives me crazy as it constantly moves. Is there a way to disable it ?

Not official through a button or a setting in the infotainment but likely through a third party coding solution.
