11 o'clock position when viewed from the driver's seat, standard MB location. Try the search function to see if WIS is posted.

I did multiple searches but nothing came up.
Some are saying it’s in the passenger side
Any other help is greatly appreciated.
And is it hard to replace, do you have to remove the catalyst converter?

So, replaced the crankshaft ps and it’s in the engine block on passenger side of vehicle, had to remove exhaust to get to it. It was a very intense job to do, remember it’s torx # 8 bolt that holds the sensor in and very hard to get to.
Problem is that i had a P0016 code camshaft crankshaft correlation bank 1 sensor A , I changed both camshaft (easy job) crankshaft sensor (hard) and still get check engine after I cleared code, read code again and still P0016 any help please, could it be the timing chain?

How many miles are on this vehicle? What is the maintenance history?

Cam solenoids
Chain stretch
Chain tensioners oil pressure failure
Camshaft position plate slipped

The above are candidates for the code. Do you have misfire, rough idle, steam from the exhaust, smoke from the exhaust, brown sludge under the oil fill cap, or bubbles in the coolant reservoir?

I'd go to MB specialist (dealer or independent). I am not a car mechanic and do not have knowledge how the modern engine functions.
On my car, if the job is relatively easy or it is purely mechanical, I'd do it (changed leaking sunroof drain and door locks on my previous Q5, for example).

In your case, in addition to various sensors, stretched chain, tensioner problem, there could be wiring problem(s), from open circuit to intermittent loss of contact in bad plug or even bad computer/module.

So, instead of throwing parts into the vehicle, I would consider taking it to a specialist.
Please do not consider me as a "dealer only" person- I am all 100% for DIY repairs, but within my capacity.

Only have 46k miles on car, don’t have misfire, rough idle nor steam coming from the exhaust. neither brown sludge or bubbles in coolant reservoir, maybe its time to take it to an independent mechanic or the stealership.
