2020 GLC 300 back of engine stain

I have 2020 GLC 300 that has a stain/ old leak at the back of the engine/top of transmission? Has anyone seen this on their car or know where it's coming? I have 3k miles left on the warranty. 😃

Back of engine. Not sure if from condensate drip or something else.

If it's on the transmission it could be the vent.

Would this be considered normal? Haven't performed transmission service and might want the dealer to inspect before warranty runs out. Anyone else see this?

I'd get it checked out, by all means. I would consider it normal after some high speed, i.e. highway driving, during hot weather for a extended period of time. Let us know what you find out.

What does it taste and smell like?
Hot? Sweet? Old oil?

Dealer said it was the vent and no issues found.

I have similar wetness in the same place and I also noticed it Above and all around the oil drain plug when I did my last oil change. Not from the drain plug however. No wetness on top of splash shield yet. Took it to the dealer this week and they called it "seepage" and that it was "normal" and nothing they could fix under warranty. They also said it wasn't oil and I think they said either transmission or front diff fluid? Car is a 2020 GLC300 with 32K on it. Warranty expires this May so I just today bought the Extended 7/75 warranty because I had hoped to keep it for 3 more years and am worried about this "seepage" becoming a Leak. Anyone else do their own oil changes and notice some fluid in the general area of the drain plug? Btw the fluid was a golden type color which I read is the color of MB trans/diff fluid.
