Im afraid you might need to replace the whole part.
Have you considered a leather repair vendor. I had a tear in the leather steering wheel of my 2017 Kia Sorento. The guy came out to my garage (guys like this usually are mobile workers) and fixed me right up. It's completely unnoticeable. No BS... this guy worked some magic. It wasn't cheap (like $250 - $300) but it was a hell of a lot cheaper than a whole new steering wheel. I can't imagine those two issues of yours costing more than the purchase of new seat coverings.

You should probably talk to a few other upholstery repair guys. There are zillions in SoCal. I'd expect something like $300 to repair the seat? Basically they pull the cover off the seat, take it apart, and sew in a replacement piece. I've seen it done on real leather seats. Surely they must know how to get ahold of MB Tex or something nearly identical make the replacement piece.
The door may be the same story or maybe not, it all comes down to how easy it is to disassemble.
Update. I found out this wear on the seat is a known issue. Dealer replaced seat pad, no charge. So - if others are experiencing this, here's the path forward.
