Advice needed: Acoustic glass replacement - New glass doesn't have "ACOUSTIC" label?

Looking for some advice. My front side glass was replaced several years ago at the dealership with acoustic glass due to wind noise, and the glass has the word "ACOUSTIC" etched into the glass along with all the other information. Someone cracked my front passenger side glass , and it now needs to be replaced. However the replacement from the dealership seems to no longer contain the "ACOUSTIC" label on it. The part number seems to be correct though. Could someone confirm that MB is no longer supplying the acoustic glass with that etching? I want to make sure it's the same glass I currently have. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to my car, so I know I'll notice it's missing every time I open that door. I've attached a pic of the current etching on my GLC, and of a pic they sent to me of my original invoice when it was initially replaced (highlighting the part #), next to the glass they received (that doesn't have the "ACOUSTIC" label), but all the other part information. Do the current acoustic windows no longer contain that label? If so, what would be the likelihood they could find one somewhere that does have it? Thanks in advance.

Not so long ago it was a discussion here about acoustic side windows. As most of the cars were supplied with only windshield as acoustic.
Some members replied and mention it is night and day. So I bout left and right glass and its acoustic and replaced them myself. To be honest I didn't notice any differences

So, MB still ships acoustic side windows.
The part numbers I bought are:
253-725-83-00
253-725-84-00
If acoustic glass wasn't originally installed on your car it might tell you it wont fit.

I just googled the part numbers I provided and all MB stores have them.
In the description it says: with acoustic glass.
So your dealer definitely has them or can order them.

Acoustic is not always spelled out. Your new glass is acoustic. Indicated by the letter A to the left of the number above SOLIVER.

How to tell if you have an acoustic windshield?

A way to know if you have an acoustic windshield is by checking the bottom of the driver’s side windshield. It should state clearly “acoustic” or “A” or a symbol of an ear with a curved arrow if it is indeed an acoustic windshield. For some vehicle models such as Ford, they would have a sticker that states “Soundscreen”. Aside from the windshield, car windows may have engraved serial numbers as well.

Thanks for your response. The first picture I uploaded is from my vehicle. It did have the acoustic glass installed at the dealer several years ago after noting wind noise, so I know it fits. The part numbers you mention are the ones that were installed. Honestly, I think they did make a noticeable difference in sound deadening. The question I have is now that one of them has cracked and needs replacement, that the label "ACOUSTIC" is not etched on the glass they want to replace it with. Even though it's the same part number, is this the way the acoustic glass is being delivered now? .

Ok, if one with label and another is without, just measure thickness of them.
They should be the same, acoustic glass like two glued together.
And check with rear glass.

Interesting, thanks for this information! So the A confirms it is indeed the acoustic glass. Do you know if this is the way all new GLC acoustic glass is being manufactured by Soliver or are they being manufactured both ways - with and without ACOUSTIC being spelled out?

No, I don't know. Acoustic used to be a novelty a few years ago and now it's fairly common. Soliver probably just simplified the etching. As said in the update to my post, there are three common ways to mark acoustic glass. The word acoustic, the letter A or an ear with a curved arrow below it.

I don't think that A represent acoustic or not,
It must be identifying per label. But might be wrong.
But acoustic should look like this one
This is acoustic window as two glued together

2019 GLC base model owner confused as well about acoustic glass

I purchased a new 2019 GLC base model (i.e., rear wheel drive) with the AMG appearance option (cosmetic only) off the lot of a Bay Area MBZ dealer. Both the driver and passenger front windows were marked in the corner of the glass as "acoustic," similar to the photos posted above. Sadly, my passenger window was broken during a smash & grab in the Bay Area and I took it to a auto glass shop to have it replaced.

The MBZ dealer ran my vin number and came up with a part number of 253-725-83-00 as the replacement. However, as you can see from the table below authored by a parts vendor for the GLC300 for both the driver and front passenger window, that 83-00 part number is associated with a "laminated" version of the window. Instead, part number 253-725-63-00 (as opposed to 83-00 as the four last digits) is identified in that vendor's table as the "acoustic" glass. It also appears that the "acoustic" glass version of that part number only appears for the AWD version of the GLC300 and an AMG model, but not the base RWD version.

I had initially thought that the "laminated" window was the same as the "acoustic" version, but given the different part numbers and the different availability of these windows depending on whether the vehicle is RWD or AWD, it is perplexing to me. It is also possible that the vendor's table is not entirely accurate or the dealer had replaced the windows on my car before I bought it. But I thought I would throw this out as another data point.
