How to replace door arm rest?
It looks like most of the attachment points are glued into the door panel with these dime-sized pieces of ABS. But the replacement armrest only has the stems, not the "heads"
I guess at the factory they use some kind of head machine to quickly bond the armrest to the panel with round ABS buttons.
Does anyone have experience on this? am I better off trying to screw metal screws into the stems for a conventional attachment, or should I try to create my own ABS "heads" and try to bond everything using ABS cement?

I think you're in good shape for a few reasons:
- you found the part, which I haven't seen listed separately
- you're aware of your options - glue or screws - and willing to give it a go
- you came to the right place for opinions!!
I have ordered a full replacement panel. I just have to swap the decorative trim with the speaker grill.
