Question Pricing for 2023 GLC

I keep reading that the new GLC will reach the showrooms in April. My daughter recently extended her lease on her GLB, she doesn’t want another GLB, she wants the redesigned GLC. Can’t say that I blame her, it looks great, especially the interior. Mercedes said that they will extend her lease past the maximum 3 months if she has a purchase order for a new MB. She will most likely order the GLC to eliminate having to buy an in stock vehicle that has numerous options that she really doesn’t need. I believe that the GLC will be manufactured in Germany, therefore, from purchase order to delivery can be at least 8 weeks. Anyone with some current information to share would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I'm in a similar situation, it's odd for MB to say the x254 is going to be on lots end of this month / early next month and there still isn't even an MSRP or a USA configurator up. The "future vehicle" page for the GLC has been the same for a very long time.

What options would she not be interested in? Most of the early MB specced cars that will be arriving at the dealerships first are failry lightly loaded. For example all or almost all I've seen in production for the northeast are white, exclusive trim, pano roof, nothing else. Usually the reason to order is because cars in stock have too little equipment.

Just a data point. I ordered my GLC mid Jan and they are saying end May/early June delivery...so about 4.5 to 5 months... I think you will see first ones arrive in April....

You might want to check treads 2023 Ordering Guide? & x254 GLC News and rumors. They both are following purchasing. What your daughter needs to do is go to dealer tell the salesman to take one of the cars on order that doesn’t have a VIN# assigned and tweak it to what she wants. She will be given a purchase order number and when it goes into production she can get a VIN#. The pricing is available except for the MSRP. This link should download and show you all the details on ordering.

https://mbworld.org/forums/attachmen...uide-en_us.pdf

My car (RWD) was ordered 1/21/23 originally to be produced Feb 27. A few days ago I got the VIN# and the new production date was now March 3. It being produced in Germany and I expect it to land in Florida about the 1st week or so of April. There is only one problem and that is the MSRP has not been released. Until it gets published all the cars will sit at the dock and won’t be put on trucks for dealership delivery. I can’t imagine that they will have a stockpile of cars sitting around .So the announcement can’t be far off.

My 2020 GLC lease was up on Dec 30. Had no trouble getting extensions by giving the purchase order number.

Pricing is not too bad. I just went to configurator and a fully optioned non AMG 2022 GLC with standard mb tex is just 2K cheaper than the 2023 Pinnacle non AMG mb tex

Question Pricing of base model GLC 4MATIC

I am looking to very shortly place an order for a 2023 GLC 4 MATIC with the standard equipment and a few stand alone options added, sunroof for example. Is pricing at MSRP, above it, or are some discounts being offered? Any tips or info you can share would be appreciated, thanks.

you really can't negotiate pricing with dealer until it actually arrives at dealer..

Thanks for your reply. I see that pricing came out the other day. Even though there is now a price, an agreed upon price cannot be established on the purchase order. Since the dealer now knows what he is paying for the vehicle why can’t a purchase price be negotiated? Thank you

I see that your 2023 GLC is expected to arrive at the end of April. Have you gotten any updates regarding the most recent expected delivery? At the dealership yesterday and sales manager said that they expect deliveries sometime around June, at best. Issues still persist with availability of parts/ chips and still awaiting MB to officially launch the new GLC. Dealers seem to still have too much inventory on the 2022 model and want to reduce their inventory before the introduction of the 2023. Not sure if any new incentives were added to 2022 starting this April to help move them out. This rollout seems a little screwed up already, the MY 2024 GLC will probably be sold towards the end of this year, I’m fairly certain it will be identical, perhaps some changes in option packaging. Please let us know if you have been apprised of any delays in your order, thanks and best of luck with your new GLC.

Just talked to my dealer today. They do not expect the 2023 GLCs to arrive till June (maybe late May). They are building them now but they will just sit at port until MB releases them, which is not expected till end May/June. Yes there are still a lot of 2022s around for sale... I am not sure about the 2024s since MB will not release 2023s till mid year....

What a mess!!! My GLC 300 will land at Brunswick on the 8th. Hurrah. The only problem is nobody knows when it will be processed thru VPC and put on a truck. In the meantime MBFS told me the other day you don’t have call back till the end of May to extend your lease.

I like the MB brand. But the home office needs to get their act together.
