Question Question about 2024 GLC 300 Radar coverage

I'm in the US, and I have a 24 GLC pinnacle trim with a driver assistance package build date of February 19th.

So, on some videos, I've seen the radar coverage is 360, while in other cases, I see images of the car with radar coverage only in the front and back areas. Not that it's a big deal, but I'm just curious if this is a difference between the European manufacturer vs. the ones being sent to the states. Just wondering which radar coverage I'll end up with based on my trim level.

Radar coverage? This ain't a fighter jet...haha! This is the 360 surround view/parking assistance. It comes starting with the Exclusive Trim. It uses multiple cameras placed around the car to stitch together a 360 and birds eye view around the car.

Thanks! haha yeah I read it back and realized I'm talking about this car like it's an air defense system.

Feel that the surround view will prevent a lot of nicks/bumps.

Yes, the surround view is nice and makes parking a lot easier, but I dislike the perspectives in the newer cars. Especially the side view. They got rid of the helpful red guidelines that make it super easy in my car to line up with the curb or pull as close as possible to the wall in my garage. It also indicates where the axles are. I find the new perspectives busy and not as helpful. Here's a pic of how it looks in my car. You can see how I can simply line up the red guideline with the wall in my garage w/o risking of hitting anything. The two smaller horizontal lines on each side shows where the wheels begin, and the longer horizontal lines indicate the axles. Switching between the views is also cumbersome using the touchscreen. I can just pull/push down/up the physical jog wheel in the center console to quickly switch between the views.

that's odd, I've heard some on here say from build date to delivery is 2-4 weeks. I'd contact your salesperson about it.

Mine told me that once the car is actually built, he'd have accurate information about when it'll arrive in the states.
