VIM in MBUX is not available by coding for now (Aug 2025), but it is available by installing some small adaptor.
*** can be coded off or memory last setting for all Mercedes models (except EQx models), but is not reversed (not like bmw).

Just to let everyone know from next week we will be offering the coding again.
All Coding is available for C/CLE/GLC/SL/EQS/EQE/New E Class apart from Distronicand IHC+
For the facelifted cars such as A/B/CLA/GLA/GLB/EQA/EQB/GLE/GLS/GWagon/Vito/E Class Facelift (213) we can code everything

Should have been more specific. My only interest is IHC+. Why is that available for all models except W214 and will it become available?

Is IHC+ technically the same as ILS+? I've seen both acronyms to describe similar features. One is Intelligent Headlight Control and the other Intelligent Lighting System and I assume they are actually the same.
My US spec W214 already switches between high/low beams, aims the light to the sides when turning on a blinker or turning the wheel, has the welcome/fairwell projectections (rain and stars), and projects symbols on the road while driving in specific circumstances. It may even do some adjustments when the rear fog light is turned on, but I've never tried. What it does not have is dynamic beam shaping around oncoming cars or cars I'm driving behind. The low beam is shaped, but it's static and does not adjust as I and other cars move in relation to me. The high beam does not shape around cars but does aim to the sides as described above. Is this the only thing I will get extra for this price or will there be other features that I didn't mention here?
Also, can this programming be overwritten by software updates and the dealership? Will you reenable it for free if that happens?

Wow, over $700 for IHC+ seems expensive for something that just needs to be enabled. MB should do this already for those of us that opted and paid extra for the digital lights package and then paid more for the digital projections.

What you missed is partial highbeam or called Beam splitting, intersection/roundabout lights, city lights, ultra long range high beams, dynamic curve light etc.
Price is relative low now. It was €1590. No hurry, wait a bit, Price will drop sooner or later.
yes. It might be deleted by dealer.
You need pay again if you Re-do the coding. Free Re-coding service is available for all non-EZS223 models.
