We will be doing a factory order for a GLC 350e early in 2025. Using the Mercedes-Benz Canada online configurator, this is what it should look like:
For the interior we will get the Macchiato leather. One odd thing, not having seen a GLC with leather at the dealer yet, is that the ventilated front seats are not available with this feature, only the Artico, which we will not select. This sort of limitation doesn't apply to some other Mercedes and other brand models with leather seating. Are the leather seating surfaces not perforated?
Apart from that, the options we are looking at are limited: heated rear seats, 60 kW DC charging port, panorama roof, navigation, Distronic and the colour you see in the image above.
Most of our local driving will be on battery only but we do frequent road trips so the engine will get a workout too.

Is that the configuration you are going with? no amg line or pinnicale and digital light package?
The digital ones are cool for sure, we had a new Peugeot 508 SW Hybrid in Europe last year for 4 weeks and I enjoyed them although the high beam shutoff was a bit late for some truckers on the Autoroute in the opposing lanes.
True. For MB, the digital projections of road signs and stuff and the light dance when starting up at night is also a nice party trick. With Intelligence high beam assist plus it also turns off the dazzling individual led beams and keep the high beams on all the time at night when there is no external light like on a country road.

Got the ball rolling on the order now - the deposit will be done on Dec. 26. My dealer is a very small market one and their next build slot is February/March 2025 with delivery likely in April/May.
Now the wait officially begins.....the dealer thinks that despite the website saying otherwise, the ventilated seats may be available with the leather. Provisionally that's what the order says. We shall see around April/May 2025.

Doubtful it's different in Canada from the US. My 2025 GLC 350e has the leather seats option and the ventilated seats option. The leather is perforated. You'll love it.

Do the nappa leather seats also have the ventilation option?

The MB USA web configuration is notoriously inaccurate. I would wager the CA version is not much better. The dealer accessible configurator is much better imho.
It got on the ship March 18th and will arrive in Halifax on April 10th. I should take delivery around the end of April, as it's expected at the dealer by April 25th.

It's lower speced than my c300 (no exclusive trim or amg line), however we've found the base features of the hybrid make it a more enjoyable ride than our sedan. The rear air suspension, ride height, MBUX 3.0, and of course gas economy are some of the main reasons why.
It also has the panoramic sunroof, which I think is a must on an SUV. Overall, I find it to be one of the best cars in the last decade (for daily, practical driving), so, enjoy!
Well, I thought based on info from the dealer's tracking system that maybe it would be getting here right about now.
Got an update today that it's not even leaving Germany until May 8th (!) and should be here around June 9th on the west coast of Canada. So the previous ship info was just wrong.
After all that, it will have been 6 months after the factory order that we get it.

At least we don't get tariffs so that is good. Same goes with usa as mbusa is absorbing all of them for model year 2025.
