Word now is that the car may be at the dealer by the end of this month and ready for delivery. I'll be looking forward to that.....

Trying to track the car using the custumer reference number has been hopeless.

Dropped by the dealer today to see where we're at and this is the latest. Blue River BC is on the Canadian National Railway system, a couple hundred km SW of Jasper Alberta. We'll see if we can get it on the 29th or morning of the 30th.
Todays order status

It was delayed by a week more or less. The car arrived at the dealer today, it's got all the options we ordered, which is good after 5+ months....
As delivered to the dealer. Picking it up Saturday the 7th.

Very nice! I think the color in your photo actually looks better than in the image in your first post. Are you happy with it?

That's the colour!

Took delivery today and rolled 68 km on the 80% charge and got home with 22 km left. Car estimated 85 km when we got it and we actually got what is 90 if the estimated range remaining is accurate. Very pleased with that.

Still trying to figure out how to make the paddles work for recovery. I have to read the manual again.....

Summary from when the car was built, after today's 174 km drive. Got a bit of engine time in. Close to 90 Imperial MPG is not bad, though the battery certainly deserves most of the credit for that.

Did 120 km in electric today and so the lifetime fuel consumption is around 100 MPG (US).

Congrats on taking delivery of your new GLC 350e! I've been loving mine so far. I only had to put about $15 of gas so far. The electric range has been amazing (107km on a full charge which I expect to drop in the winter months).
As for the steering wheel paddles. The car always starts in Auto mode. If you press the left paddle once it'll go into standard D mode which has limited regenerative braking. If you press the left paddle twice, it'll go into D- mode which maximizes regenerative braking (this is the option I use but I know some people don't like the feeling of the regenerative braking). If you press the right paddle once, you'll be in D+ mode which is the option that has no regenerative braking and the drive feels like a regular ICE vehicle.

2025 GLC 350e
Note that D Auto is only available in ECO Mode. If you’re driving in E Mode, it starts in D, standard regen braking.
D- (one pull on the left paddle is max regen. One pull on the right paddle while in D- puts it back to standard regen. A pull on the right paddle while in standard regen puts it in D+ which is no regen braking.

When I start my vehicle, it defaults to D Auto. I do have ECO Assist turned on in settings though. Is this wjst you mean by ECO mode? I always change my to D - I wish there was a setting that allows you to change the default mode

Is is possible to always start the car in H (Hybrid) mode if the battery has charge? The car seems to always start in EL (Electric) if there is any charge in the battery.

OK here's a question for you: I try to set the charge limit to 80% when shutting off and as soon as the car is locked, the 80% changes to 100%. I must be missing something......

Have you tried changing it on the phone app? Why 80%? The 20% to 80% rule doesn't really apply for PHEVs.

I haven't found a setting that allows you to change the default drive mode but you only have to press one button to change to Hybrid from Electric mode. Also, why would you want to start in Hybrid mode vs Electric?

I'll give it a try.

But: Why would filling it to 100% not be as bad as it is in a BEV? Full is full; only the battery is smaller than most BEVs?

Just checked on the phone app and it says it's set to max out at 80%...but the car itself says 100%. Also, I can't see in the app how to change the maximum. I'm not so good with apps....
