New GLC63 owner here

I wanted to take the opportunity as a first time Mercedes buyer, and new owner of a beautiful GLC63, to say "Hello" to this forum. I purchased this bad boy this past weekend, and I couldn't be more excited. Selenite Gray with Nappa leather, Parking pkg, Performance Exhaust, Apple Carplay, Pano roof, and 20" wheels. It's honestly way more performance than I'll ever need, but I couldn't say no to the mean looking front end and wide stance. The car looks ready to pounce! I'm coming from a 2014 Cadillac CTS V-Sport which was a fantastic car in its own right, but I never thought I would own a vehicle that would outperform it. These AMG's are beasts!

Anyways I'm looking forward to all the great insights, feedback, and opinions from members of this forum. I'll post pics of my new ride once I have some free time. Cheers everyone!

James

Thank you everyone. It's been a few days, so I'm keeping it "PG" until I hit the 1000 mile mark. When I get some free time, I'll post some better photos. My only comment so far is that the ride is definitely stiffer than your average GLC, which is fine by me but definitely not for everyone. Comfort mode is perfect, but over rougher roads I do catch the occasional squeak coming from the dash. On smooth pavement, I only hear the tires and the amazing exhaust note. Can't wait until I can really open her up! Oh, and the quality of the interior and nappa leather is awesome. Truly feels special sitting inside this thing.

Longhorn Dad - so far, Apple Carplay has been great and operates well. I don't always hook up my iphone to the car so my experience with it has been limited. I'm REALLY looking forward to iOS12 so I can use WAZE via Carplay.

No, I’m off of Seattle Hill Road near Mill Creek/Bothell. Are you nearby? Nice to know another local GLC63 owner

Yes - Lunar Blue. I happen to know that Bellevue Mercedes will get a Brilliant Blue one whenever the 2019s are released. It's sitting on the dock in Long Beach right now.

How is the performance exhaust? I worry that it'd be too loud in my neighborhood and would end up keeping it off.

i was worried about the same thing, but in comfort mode the exhaust is a ‘mild’ grumble and isn’t obnoxiously loud. I leave for work around 6:00am, and I don’t feel like the exhaust would bother anyone. In my opinion, the performance exhaust is a must-have for the 63’s.

I'll have to decide soon. Otherwise you have the same combo I'm onsidering. Selenite, grey nappa, phone integration (android for me), parking pkg, 20" wheels. Sucks that we cant get adaptive cruise without multimedia. I'm also getting Heads Up display, have that in my BMW and like it. Just put a post with my build, but this is pretty much it.

i had a head-up display in my Cadillac that was awesome, so that is the one feature that I miss (and ventilated seats). Otherwise I love how mine is spec’d. Good luck with your build and hope you get your ride soon.

I'm just ordering it now hoping for end of October when my BMW lease is up, but more likely early November and will drve an old company car for a few weeks.
