I have a 2022 on order and will be looking into lowering it. Thanks for the info.
Definitely works. The MBUX system puts up a warning message "Mercedes me functionality limited etc.", when you plug in anything into the OBD port but goes away after you remove the module from the OBD port and ignition cycle.

Looks Great! I have same color, same 21" wheels on my 2020. Front is dropped 20mm and rear 23mm (couldn't leave it at 20-20. That extra 3mm made a difference! )

I went with 15mm spacers on the front with the stock 21" PZeros, and 20mm spacer on the rear. I have >15k daily driver miles on it like that, and while I can get extremely slight rubbing with the right combo of pavement angle, wheels turned just right, and backing up slowly, there's no rub at all otherwise.

With my snows on it (Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3s in stock 21" size), it's a little worse due to the more square edged tires, but still no problem

FYI - I would get it aligned after lowering if you haven't. Mine was pretty far out before the alignment

I’m interested in a set sent to Japan but what material are the bushings made from…polyurethane? What are the materials used on the other hardware too.

Thanks for the Q&A and sorry if you’ve already posted this here amongst the amassed responses.

Cheers.

We saw the need therefore to re-instate from the 90's full front and rear adjustment. Same time replacing the 4 front and rear highest wearing bushings.

Front Camber and Caster, rear Camber (and extra Toe). Precise single wrench adjustment, accurately (under load, direct on alignment rack).

CATERING FOR OTHER THAN SHOWROOM HEIGHT CONDITIONS - day to day commuting encountering high cambered roads, wheel squat through lowering or load carrying, fitting wide profile tires/wheels, worn bushings, curb knock damage and the capability to correctly resolve steering pull!

OPTIONS AVAILABLE/MANUFACTURED:
FRONT ADJUSTABLE CAMBER & CASTER #503416 K $480

FRONT ADJUSTABLE CAMBER & CASTER #503316-2 j $380

(BUSHING KIT)

NOTE: Above KMAC Front upper wishbone inner bush kit is designed so can be fitted without arm or front wheel removal

ALSO MANUFACTURED
Uprated replacement bushings for the '6' multi link rear suspension arms - less twitch/flex loss of traction. Especially when applying power to lane change/overtake.
#502628 K $480

Hi

Do point out we have the experience of being the longest established aftermarket manufacturer of Hi Performance bushings - 58 years (1964). Continually testing, proving, developing in "all out competition racing".

Specially formulated from elastomer material running on ultimate nickel chromed hardened steel bushings.

DHL Express air delivery to Japan (and worldwide) current special is $40 one kit $20 each extra.

This is the best looking OEM Plus setup I’ve seen so far. Can you pass along where you purchased the extended wheel bolts from?

I've written here before about how pleased I am with my lowering module. I bought 2 of them - for the S63 coupe and the GLC63.

Does anyone else have inner front tire wear issues with their lowered GLCs?

I was told the car was aligned when it was lowered (bought it lowered). I didn't verify the alignment and didn't notice the tire wear until it went flat on me last weekend. Right side is just as bad.

I know with my W213 E63s Wagon that there isn't a way to properly align the car with the factory suspension hardware. Just curious if there is a cure for the GLC.

Thanks

There is only front and rear Toe directional adjustment OEM. All to do with cost savings and ever increasing speed of auto assembly lines !

To resolve costly premature edge tire wear we therefore manufacture for all GLE models Front Camber adjuster kit #503416-1i at $345 (less cost then one hi-performance tire).

Replaces lower arm inner 2 bushes. Fit on car without need for arm removal. Bush extraction tool included. No special tools required.

Unique patented design allows precise single wrench adjustment accurately (under load) direct on alignment rack.

FOR THE REAR:
#502226K $480 (Coil / 4MATIC)
#502326K $480 (Airmatic)
#502326-1K $480 (AMG models)
Above provides Camber (and extra Toe to compensate) replacing lower arm inner bushings. Also fit without need for arm removal.

See spoiler re other kits manufactured.

I finally lowered the car with 20mm preset 1. Thus far very nice. I will try the 2nd setting of 30mm after a few months.

Here is the video link:

Anyone know what is the sweat spot before too much negative camber wearing out the tires? Looks like the best looking stance is around 32mm front and 37mm rear but anyone knows what the negative camber you will be running with those numbers?

I tend to be ok with anything up to -2.1 to -2.3 usually you can get away without any negative camber wear on the tires.

I second that! What's the sweet spot before it messes with camber.

The brabus module lowers 15mm front/rear from stock (plus add another 15mm when you do put it in sport). Is that safe to assume that's the max limit in order to not mess up the camber/tire wear.
im hoping we can get away with 20mm without any consequences.
