Help me to decide what I should get GLC43 or GLC63 coupe
The car I presently own is the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V. I'm very happy with it but I need something more utilitarian and one that I can drive in the winter as I live in Montreal.
I have narrowed my search to GLC43 or GLC63 coupe.
Please help me to choose between the two models commenting on the following:
1- Performance 0-60. 1/4 mile
2- Handling
3- Breaking
4- Sound
5- Comfort
6-Fuel consumption-
7- Looks
8- Fun to drive every day
All your comments and opinions will be greatly appreciated.
Also if you know of any auto magazines comparison or Youtube videos please point me in the right direction.
i find that the the only reason to be comparing these 2 would be money...
i myself want the 63, but am comparing it to the 43 ONLY because of the $12-$15k price difference...
the 63 dumps on the 43 is every aspect (except fuel mileage), so it’s simply a matter of money...

Headroom in the rear seats of the coupe versions is minimal. It's a head-knocker for anyone unlucky enough to get stuck back there. The coupe is also heavier but has less cargo capacity.
I think you should drive both the 43 and 63 and also figure out the purpose the car will serve. Personally speaking if it were my personal ride, I would be looking at a C63 and bypass an SUV simply because I wouldn’t need the utility of it.

Don't know if you thought about the option, but GLC43 could be a way to keep both cars with the money you save. You get your tire shredding summer sports sedan and high-performance crossover.
Otherwise, if it's down to only one vehicle, I'd suggest the GLC63 (but tires may have to be a compromise or winter-swap where you live).
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
They are much appreciated.
I have to admit that I like the looks of the coupe much better than the SUV. (beauty is in the eye of the beholder).
Money is an issue for me, therefore, I'm considering selling my ATS-V to get cash towards the purchase.
As it will be my only vehicle I will probably go with GLC43NV suggestion of buying GLC63S and using it 12 months per year with good winter tires.
What do you guys think me about getting a used one (1-2 years old) with extended MB warranty ?
That could save me $20 to $30 K.
Is that viable option? So far I have not seen many used ones for sale.

If the discount isn't big enough, will likely wait for the 2020 refresh for the new tech.
The 63's weren't out when we got ours, but if you CAN afford the 63, if you're anything like me you'll regret not getting it every time you see one.
Fuel economy is only rated at being 18mpg combined city/hwy for the 63, 20mpg for the 43. Not a huge difference.
