Question Is there launch control on the 43s?
Still breaking in the 43 '19, but I'm curious if they have launch control and if there's how do you set it? Thanks

No there isn't, not sure but I think it's only on the 63S models.
But...turn traction control off, press down firm on brake with left foot, hold gas to about 3000rpm, let go of brake, works well. lol

Launch control is also standard on the GLC63 non S. It's just not publicly broadcasted.

Correct. The non S does not have "Race" mode. But it does have "Race" start.

Turn the traction control to Sport or to off. Set the car to Sport +. Hold down the brake and quickly mash the gas to the floor.

I have the 43
I put it in sport plus then hammer to gas pedal.
Love the hard shifts that put you back in the seat.!!!!!!!

We originally had a 43 it was quite a thrill!! The 63 is a thrill though in a whole other dimension.

For me it happens in any driving mode. At a stop place break peddle down hard and press has to floor. For me it always works don’t have to use race mode or touch traction control.

Red line the RPM at Race start?
Hello,

My 2020 GLC63 passed the 1,000 mile break in period and I was wondering. When doing the race start sequence, when holding the break and mashing the gas pedal quickly... does the car limit the RPM to before the red line automatically? Or you have to let off a bit so it doesn't red line it hence damaging the engine? Thanks

The RPM is limited automatically so just hold your foot to the floor. You can also bump the RPM up or down a bit by using the paddle shifters once your foot is all the way down.
