Any annoying sounds on your GLC63S?
Just thought I’d ask here for more advises, I’ve owned a 2018 GLC63S Coupe for two months now, got it from a MB dealer as a 2000km Demo car. Previously had always owned Bimmers.
1. I found the interior of this Merc has so many rattles in different places at different time during the date (guess it has something to do with the temperature).
most of them sound like plastic rattles, never had these issues with my old bimmers, thought it might be because Merc has so many luxury designed components on interior, but it shouldn’t be that bad?
2. front wheels at full lock are jaddering/skipping very bad especially at low speed when it’s cold in the morning/wet on road. (“Ackermann”
is probably the only thing I can relate this problem to, but dealers seems to reason this out as a 4Matic+ characteristic). I know UK MB had already given out a solution back in 2015/2016. Just wanted to see if there are other GLC63S having the same problem?
3. In drive mode, when release the brake, a very light sound comes out if rear wheels and it sounds like when auto electronic Paking brake is scratching the braking pad when it separates from the braking pad. Not loud, but very noticeable.
Apologize if these have been brought up before, wanted to start up a discussion for any issues that we are having but unable to resolve thru dealer. :-)
The dealer has cleaned and lubricated all brake parts and noize is still there.
Dealer is claiming this is normal for AMG cars.
I find this noize annoying for a luxury car.
No interior rattles or front wheels at full of lock juddering/skipping.
I have Pilot 4S tires.

I have Pirelli P Zero for now, I may change them then.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I have owned a 63 with 21" for about 15 months. Came with PZero and am now running PS4S. Both tires exhibit crabbing at lower temperatures but keep in mind that ultra high performance tires are not designed for cold temperatures and can actually be damaged if driven at temperatures much lower than 40F. The PS4S come with a warning that warranties are voided if driven or even moved with the tire temp below 40F. I found that the crabbing starts at around 50F and gets worse as it gets colder. I run snow tires in the winter and they do not exhibit any crabbing.
Don't be too quick to change the PZeros you'll get to soon enough anyway as mine only lasted 7,000 miles. The PS4S is a far superior tire. Quieter, way better in wet, better in dry and better tread life. I have about 7,000 miles on the PS4S and anticipate maybe another 5,000 miles.
As others have stated the crabbing phenomenon is coming to several all wheel drive vehicles with high performance tires and even some 2WD as my friends Corvette does the same thing.

That was a great help from you.
Yeah the crabbing is bothering me so much, it's just I've never owned a crabbing car before, I'll get over it soon lol...
