fuel system pressure too low
Recently my car went into limp mode and a check engine light popped up. I used a code scanner and it turned out to be P0087, which read that the fuel system pressure too low.

Did anyone else run into this problem before? Is this a serious problem?

Also my car has a stage 1 tune from dme.

Ahhhh well DME was the first mistake...

yes it can become problematic if you keep pushing the car engine will knock. One guy already had DME blow the motor. First company to blow a M177 up.

I went through hell with those guys. Horrible tuners. If Kevin isn’t personally tuning the car then run away.

Mo can talk and talk but server tuning is BS. Do yourself a favor and demand a refund in full just like I did.

I have the stage 2 tune. same issue. waiting on a resolution/updated tune to resolve this.

I doubt they will resolve it. I had some troubles with them and after 9 months they still couldn't figure out how to avoid it. Anytime the tune taps 18.5-19psi it will cut all power. That means they are leaning on it too much.

He has been notified of the problem.. if it isnt fixed in a relatively reasonable time frame then you can ask for money back. Im sure he will dock you a restocking fee but if you arent a happy customer with a product that isnt working... ball is in your court.

Did you notify him of the problem? I left the car alone for more than 24 hours and it went back to normal. Cleared the code and it hasn't came back yet.

How did you ask for a refund? Is there a price period after purchase? I bought my tune from marlon at texas dme.

yes it will reset and take the CEL away but the code will remain on the back end. I’m sure it can do pulls on the highway but from a launch and full acceleration it will cut out. It was strange the tune would At very few times.

I would assume a restocking fee of some sort. Again if the tune isn’t working correctly you shouldn’t have a problem if they can’t come up
with a remedy in a reasonable time frame. I came out guns blazing of course lol

If you were able to get a refund, perhaps I would try and ask them to fix the issue and if they can’t, I’d ask for a refund. But the thing is, I can’t prove that it is their tune which is causing the problem.

I had launched the car a few times before and never encountered this problem. It only came up after I reloaded the tune after bringing it to service.
