C43 AMG Coupe (2017)
Remote Start for GLC 43 2018
Hi There,

I would like to buy a remote start for my 2018 GLC 43. I don't think the Mercedes Me App will work since it's 2018 and the app only works with 2019.

I'm from Toronto and appreciate any recommendations!

We're just about finished with our product development for GLC! Should be available in January sometime, and you'll be able to purchase it from our Canadian distributor, Mobile Solutions of Canada.

Blk/Blk GLC43 AMG WAGON
I have 2018 and mine works but not always. Also a stupid thing about the APP is you can start the car, warm it up and as soon as you open
the door(s) the engine shuts off and you have to start it up again. I get why they do it (theft the obvious reason) but given the times we
live in and tech available it should recognize the presence of the key-fob and disable the auto shutoff feature. Small gripe just wish they had some way of bypassing this.

Interesting that you have the 2018 and the app works! Is it the Mercedes Me app or another one? I'll have to try it out tonight.

The Me app works with my 2018 GLC63. I remote start it every day.

That can't be right because the ME app is for 19+ cars. Yours must be a 19.

I tried setting up my app and it says the Mercedes Me connect features are not available on my 2018 GLC 43. Too bad! Must only be for the 2019’s as they say on the site.

I'm 100% certain that my car is a 2018 and that the remote start and all other functions of the Me app work perfectly.

Could it be because Kraka46 has a GLC 63, and you have a GLC 43 ?

I owned a 18 GLC43 and had the remote start via the ME app thought that was very cool and it worked every time.

That's strange. We specifically waited until the 2019 to get the car starter. Otherwise I could have saved thousands more and got the 18.
