Door Pins

Anyone change theirs out to Aluminum? Particularly the ones from JPSpeed? I'm not a fan of the black plastic ones and was looking to change them out. Getting some conflicting information on compatibility. not sure if they are the same as the W205

I had changed mine out with MB AMG ones. A tad expensive, but received as a gift. Looks much better than the black plastic. Easy install per web instructions/videos.

Also does it require door panel removal?

I ordered the OEM ones for my C43 which should be the same, I think I have the boxes with part numbers in my truck, will try and remember to get them for you, and they were expensive but really nice.

Go to eBay and look up. That’s where I got mine. Contact the seller and let them confirm. I got them from a MB dealer. Oem. You just put a rag around your stock ones and I used a small channelock to twist off. Install same way. Don’t overtighten. Be sure to have AMG logo facing in towards the interior.

OEM pn A0007660800, called button locking system, one per box. When you reinstall you might put a dab of a NON permanent thread locker or a rubbery non hardening glue otherwise they tend to turn, otherwise a snap to change. Nobody makes an exact copy of the OEM so your choice of what you get, I stuck with OEM and not a knock-off.
