Hi guys,
I have just put down an order/deposit for a 2020 GLC 63s coupe (April production). Im just wondering is the rumour true about the exhaust sound being much more muted compare to pre-facelift models?
Im from Vancouver, Canada.
Thanks in advance for discussing!

Its definitely more muted than the 2019 I drove. (I'm in the US), but its still plenty of fun!! Don't let that distract you, while I haven't done it myself, I believe a tune can address some of those issues if you have to have it lounder with the bangs and pops etc.

Most tuning would void the warranty with MB. From what I can see, there is not way out of this... which is really frustrating...

Actual proof? I haven't driven them back to back on the same road, but I test drove an 2019 in OCT of 2019 and bought almost the exact same in a 2020 and I am now past the break in and notice the difference in cracks and pops etc.... So there is a delay (4 months) between those drives and loads could have happened to my perception between those months no doubt! I took a ride with the head service tech for my local dealer last week and he also said they were quieter than previous years to. So no actual evidence, maybe its the want for something we don't have..... :-) But I think its quieter...
Now, its plenty loud enough for me. I love the sound, love the notes and am happy as a clam with my 2020.

Check out the videos guys,
He talked about the difference between EU/USA and UAE vehicles. Apparently, It has a lot to do with OPF (Otto Particulate Filter) also known as GPF (Gas Particulate Filter). Anyone familiar with this term?
