C-280, 911, Q5, 2020 GLC43, 1947 Chris Craft runabout.
With the incentives MB is giving out, at least if they get here on time, they will be less $.
Mine should have hit Port of Baltimore @ the 27th of March. At this point it is anyone's guess when it will be at the dealership.
When we ordered, it was supposed to be here in June. I originally told the wife it will be here when we are in Vegas between April 11th and 17th.
We canceled that so I'm hoping it will be here before our rescheduled vacation to Vegas at the end of August!
I'm assuming the incentives will get better but I would give them all back to not have this sickness rolling around the country & world.

What incentives is MB giving? Where do I find that information. I have car due to finish production in early May.
would this incentives you mentioned apply to people who are waiting for car production, delivery?

I think, If I can remember correctly, there is an additional $2000 off on 2020 GLC43's thru the end of April. (It may be higher in May.....)
You have to ask the dealer for that because it can either go to the dealer or the buyer. (Dealers choice) If you know about it they will give it to you to keep you happy.
Plus, through MB, financing is a lower % as well as there is 90 day delay in payments and they will pay the first payment up to $500 which almost pays for the interest accrued during those first 90 days of delay.
The regular GLC's are only $500 off and I'm not sure what the 63's rebates are if anything...
My dealer has an almost exact build as the one I ordered except in a different color and they offered it to me at exactly 10% off sticker.
I assume, if you presently have a MB, you can still get the $1000 loyalty discount too....

Oh, also, as far as I know, the rebates and deals only apply if you are actually picking up the car....
My guy at the dealership told me about the rebates and incentives.

Do you know if the GLC 43/63 qualifies for 0% APR? I saw some emails about this offer but it doesn't mention exactly which model qualifies.

i saw these discounts offer in CA as well but for only April. it would be interesting to see if similar deals will be offered in May or even throughout the summer giving current situation. Definitely big effect on finance and negotiation if things keeping up for another 2-3 months.

I would bet the deals are only going to get better next month. The factory may be open but people are not buying.
Mine came in last week. I had to argue like heck and even told them I was backing out before I got the discounts.
Then after that was done I gave them an oh, BTW, I also get the $1000 loyalty bonus.
I don't think they were happy but I got what I wanted in the end.
I had to order without the leather and almost all the ones on the lot had leather.
I don't like leather, it cracks, you slide around, it's just more trouble than I feel its worth. Only my opinion though.
My 911 leather is really cracked and the light grey leather on the Audi is stained from my belts.
The MB tex on my 2006 is in great shape even though it I use it hard and hardly ever clean it.

I ordered in early March and supposed to be built in June. What are the chances for a long delay?

Latest I've seen says the engine plants were due to open on April 20. The Bremen plant, where GLC is assembled, is due to reopen with a single shift on April 27.

I'm guessing my build, which was scheduled for the 2nd ten days of April, will get pushed out 4-5 weeks. I've not confirmed this with the dealership though.

Mercedes will first reopen its powertrain plants, said parent company Daimler in a statement today. The plan is to build up a supply of key parts for the actual vehicle assembly plants, reports Autonews Europe.

It may be delayed a bit more than a month but who knows.
I actually thought mine would be caught in the shutdown since the dealership said when I ordered it first of January to expect it in mid June.
When my salesman called and said it had been on the ship for a couple days at the end of March. I was shocked.
Then when it breezed thru Baltimore and arrived 2 weeks after landing I was pissed because I am really thinking that there are going to be more incentives in May.
But. the dealership was a ghost town. It was me, the finance guy and salesman. The finance guy pulled up when I was getting there.
A few people getting their cars worked on in service. That was it.
I assume when they start building cars the incentives will get better for a little while because they don't need the back log.
I hope everyone that has a longer wait because of the shutdown gets a Great Deal! You should!
It sucks, having the car but nowhere to drive! I've had mine a week and put on 83 miles. Only 917 more mile to go before I can start hitting the red line! lol

When my salesman told me mine was on a ship I checked with Baltimore and they said they had slowed down b/c there were not as many ships coming in but that they never closed. The one port was closed for Ash Wednesday and (I think) Good Friday but those were negotiated holidays. Other than that, according to the dock master I was talking with, they stayed open, just not real busy. There was a problem for a while getting cars picked up b/c trucking and rails were slow but they seemed to solve that.
Negril1167, it sounds like you ordered yours about 2 weeks after I ordered mine. I picked mine up on the 17th so it looks like it stayed about 14 days all the way.
The time will go quick, enjoy your new ride. Hopefully there will be someplace to drive soon!

Good to know that the Baltimore port is still functioning. I'm in Maryland, so the car won't have to travel far to the dealership.

Congrats on your cars arriving guys! I was thinking yesterday that maybe a delay isn't so bad.

With most everything shut down, not driving into work regularly, etc, there's really no where to go. It might take a long time to get that first 1000 down. Getting through the initial break-in period before being able to unleash the horses might be agony.

Thanks

my initial order was all black interior, but due to complications and waiting forever, my dealer found this one, and it had the cranberry colour seats, so I took a chance

lost the metallic paint, but gained the nicer interior, and AMG Drive unit, instead of heated steering wheel

As for the chrome on the tail lights,,,,So do I , but that is what wrap was made for....

Just got a call from my dealer this morning telling me my build will arrive at Long Beach this Friday. Felt bad telling him things are uncertain for me financially right now as I was furloughed two weeks ago. With the SF Bay Area extending lockdown until at least the end of may I'm starting to worry I wont be brought back. I'm a mechanical engineer in a "non-essential" industry
