It is! Just in time for May gray and June gloom ... hopefully the sun comes out tomorrow and I can enjoy it in the light!

March 20th CA goes into Shelter in Place and everything comes to a standstill. Last Friday I got the great news that the car made it to the dealership and was ready for delivery. Picked it up Wednesday afternoon and couldn't be happier! Have been on the forums lurking around looking at all the photos of the cars for a very long time, dreaming of the moment I would have an AMG. After years of hard work and being comfortable pulling the trigger, I now have the car!!! Now just to get passed the damn 1,000 mile break in to really enjoy it!
Beautiful car and they spelled 63 correctly on your's.....

Love that steering wheel. Be sure to clean it properly every couple of weeks.

Looks like finance rates remain the same for May.

No change for the 63. However it looks like the GLC43 SUV now qualifies for 0% APR financing 36mos (was 1% last month). I hope to see 1% or 0% for the 63 during June but that's just me wishing.

2019 C63 Cabriolet/ 2020 GLC43
Just picked up a Brand new 2020 GLC43 AMG for my wife yesterday in Florida. Brilliant Blue with Saddle Leather, 21’s, Running Boards.. Loaded $71,825 MSRP. They sold it to us for $60,160 plus tax, tag, and dealer fee. Picked up 0% from MBF on trade difference and MB picks up $500 as the 1st payment. This takes the net down to $59,660. That was a hard deal to pass up. Also picked up the previous Saturday a 2019 C63 Cabriolet in Designo Cardinal Red Metallic w/Black top, and Platinum White over Black Napa. 3k miles CPO that is as new. For 24k off orig. MSRP. Both vehicles missing Ventilated seats. Something I use frequently in Florida, but for the huge savings you have to be a bit flexible. Florida dealers 40-50% off normal sales. They want to move cars.. Wasn’t planning on changing out of our Porsche’s until the fall. The current situation moved that up 6 months. Very happy with Mercedes (one luxury brand we never owned) AMG so far. Amazing cars.. I will post pics if I can figure out how. Don’t see the normal attachment link!.

Nice deal! Was there still a $2000 rebate on the GLC43?

I believe $2,500. They gave us every rebate and discount available. No other dealer was able to match that! Here’s a pic of mine. I have to take some pics today of the GLC43. Amazing ride.. super fun. the sport exhaust in sport plus is crazy good. When is yours expected in..

Oh, silly Dog! Still believing that the 63 is better than the 43. Us 43 owners have got a well kept secret.

Nice.. How are Cali dealers with discounts? Florida dealerships are huge and are discounting heavy right now. they are off 40-60%..Enjoy the new ride and post a few pics.

Great! A little bit of fun in the middle of all this awful.
Congrats, now drive it home and wait to find someplace to go!
Thats the hardest part, not having anyplace to go!

Ohio is really bad? Florida opened the Beaches, restaurants and stores. I see you are in Columbus. I purchased several Porsche’s from Byers.. The owner was a customer and had a home in Naples.

Just take it out and drive...

Actually there is more to add. I live near SF (About 400 miles from LA). I put in my order late January before all this craziness. Reason I ordered from a dealership so far away is none of the Bay Area ones offered a comparable discount (We agreed to 8% at the time). Also I have a large amount of friends in the LA area and I visit a couple of time a year (LA food > SF food by a long shot). What better way to break in the car than to road trip back! But currently the CA stay at home order is still ongoing. Technically I'm not allowed to travel more than 5 miles from home from what I hear. And I don't want to have the vehicle transported to me. The dealer was understanding. We didn't talk final numbers yet. I'm hoping the stay at home order will be lifted by June and MB offers even more incentives by that time. We shall see.

I'm not complaining, Better safe than sorry.
The problem in Ohio is that there is no place to drive.
Restaurants and everything are still closed.
Groceries and essential are open but nothing else.
Dentist and Dr. offices just opened last Friday for elective procedures.
Next week stores are allowed to start opening but most everything else is still closed.
So, running the few errands that I have and hanging at home.
Some day....
My Porsche came from Byers. They are fairly big up here. That car hasn't been out for months.
No reason to take out the convertible in the winter except for a few 50 degree days.
At least I'm saving on gas. lol

Wow.. yeah i know Cali is rough right now. My Son just moved back in October from SF after 6 years. San Mateo.. He is a in Tech. I just got 17% off Brand new 2020 GLC43 AMG for my Wife last week. I picked up the week before 2019 C63 Cabriolet CPO w/2k miles as new. Mats still in plastic. 85k sticker. 59.9k. Great trade in prices on both my Porsches. Florida Dealers need to move cars. My buddy is a manager at Fletcher Jones MB in Newport Beach. He used to live in Naples. Cali also gets you by not giving you trade in tax credit like Florida. I only pay tax 6% on the difference. Plus the Tag (license plate) is only like 60 bucks a year. My Son bought an Audi in Audi Palo Alto before he left Cali. He wanted to register it in Florida and they made him pay Cali taxes, tag and fees. Crazy. Love Cali, but crazy expensive.. push your Dealer for a much higher discount. They even did a full ceramic tint on both cars.

It sounds like Florida is a lot more open than Cali and Ohio.
It is a big nation out there.
I think I would be tempted to drive the 400 miles but I'm not sure I would.
That is a way to go. Food and restrooms could be a problem...
Plus that's a long time on the road.
Nice road trip once all the restrictions are lifted.

Yeah..we finally can eat out and go somewhere other than Walmart, Target,Costco and the Food stores..lol. Car Dealers were open all along. I know some states were locked down with internet sales only. I bought both cars in Florida but out of my area. Normally I would venture out of State if I found a great deal. This current situation changes all that while road tripping. Byers delivered my Wife’s Porsche to our door a couple of years ago. Nice folks. Custom order and he sold it to us for invoice. Nice folks.

Ah San Mateo! Excellent Japanese food there. I'm a semiconductor engineer myself. Our industry been hit hard and I'm currently furloughed. Once offices are allowed to open I'm sure I'll be brought back. CA is a beautiful place with great weather but our politicians are deranged and the cost of living is insane. Your son made a good choice in moving back. I'll likely be leaving myself soon. I will definitely try my negotiation skills when it's time to pick up. Thanks for the tip!

Good point, I haven't even thought about restrooms!
I like traveling to LA for the restaurants, with those places closed the incentive to go is a lot lower. Also I'm not sure how seriously my friends are taking shelter in place. I wouldn't want to just pop on by during these times. Once nice thing is the roads are empty right now. LA without the LA traffic is a tempting place to be.

I was worried what this forum was becoming when I read "rear shot". lol
Enjoy. It's tuff during these times when you first get a new car. No-one is out on the road so you can go fast, BUT, MB says you cannot go fast for the first 1000.
Darn it.

hey - are you getting a 43 or a 63? 8% discount in LA? I ordered mine from MB of Pleasanton right before shutdown with $1k deposit and I got 9% before tax.

hope you can re-negotiate.

I just got 17% in Florida on a new 2020 GLC43 last week. I’m sure LA is priced higher.
