For those waiting on a build...
Started talking to the dealership in December, got the build allocation on Dec 18th, and locked in Dec 30th. It was built in early Feb, jumped on a boat and landed in Long Beach on March 17th. March 20th CA goes into Shelter in Place and everything comes to a standstill. Last Friday I got the great news that the car made it to the dealership and was ready for delivery. Picked it up Wednesday afternoon and couldn't be happier! Have been on the forums lurking around looking at all the photos of the cars for a very long time, dreaming of the moment I would have an AMG. After years of hard work and being comfortable pulling the trigger, I now have the car!!! Now just to get passed the damn 1,000 mile break in to really enjoy it!
Love that steering wheel. Be sure to clean it properly every couple of weeks.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Congrats, now drive it home and wait to find someplace to go!
Thats the hardest part, not having anyplace to go!
I've had mine for 3 almost 3 weeks and have 120 miles on her. lol
Just take it out and drive...
The problem in Ohio is that there is no place to drive.
Restaurants and everything are still closed.
Groceries and essential are open but nothing else.
Dentist and Dr. offices just opened last Friday for elective procedures.
Next week stores are allowed to start opening but most everything else is still closed.
So, running the few errands that I have and hanging at home.
Some day....
My Porsche came from Byers. They are fairly big up here. That car hasn't been out for months.
No reason to take out the convertible in the winter except for a few 50 degree days.
At least I'm saving on gas. lol
It is a big nation out there.
I think I would be tempted to drive the 400 miles but I'm not sure I would.
That is a way to go. Food and restrooms could be a problem...
Plus that's a long time on the road.
Nice road trip once all the restrictions are lifted.

I like traveling to LA for the restaurants, with those places closed the incentive to go is a lot lower. Also I'm not sure how seriously my friends are taking shelter in place. I wouldn't want to just pop on by during these times. Once nice thing is the roads are empty right now. LA without the LA traffic is a tempting place to be.

Enjoy. It's tuff during these times when you first get a new car. No-one is out on the road so you can go fast, BUT, MB says you cannot go fast for the first 1000.
Darn it.
Good point, I haven't even thought about restrooms!

hope you can re-negotiate.
