Anyone have data on how these cars sell 2-3 years down the line prior to warranty expiration?

it has actually been horrible if you look at the current values, especially with non-S SUV.
My 2019 with 21k miles was returning 55k to 57k trade-in value online. My Car MSRP was 86k.
i expected to lose 50% of that over 3 years and 45 k miles but I might be in for a world of pain.
The are 2016 and 2017 C63 still asking for 55k on the internet. That is the crazy part.. The GLC is worlds better than the C class up to 2018.

Well, a facelift did come out for 2020. I'd say 10k a year is a pretty good/accurate average.Originally Posted by viper3ez

Except for the first year. Expect about 20k.

GLC63S seem to be being snapped up quickly in the UK as there don’t seem to be many available.Does anyone know how many of the pre face lift models were sold new here?

AMG's plummet hard typically. However the car market has changed quite a bit this year so not sure if anyone really knows except for the dealer man.
I bought my absolutely fully loaded 2018 S with 15k on the clock for £55k in October 2020 and so it had lost £15k plus a year depreciation. Values seems to have really levelled out as they have done with the E63s!

Does this refer to trade in value, private sale, or wholesale? Each is very different regardless of the vehicle and my 2020 GLC63 Has lost close to $25k off MSRP since I purchased it in March. Luckily I’m leasing so I don’t really care too much, just would take a sizable hit if I wanted to get out of it early.

I think condition will be key. Resale on AMG can be tough because so many people beat these up. Hence the historically low residuals and tough leases. Originally Posted by TKramer

I think we all brought these cars knowing they're not going to be good investments. I've made my peace with it before even specing mines.

Exactly, if you buy an AMG and worry about resale then don't buy one.Originally Posted by firebert814
