Bunch of members on the W212 forum have already installed this feature.

I just received the IHC Multibeam LED update OBD2 plug from Vladimir. After installing it I'm not entirely sure if it worked or not. I tested in my dark garage but I don't know what to look for. I emailed him the LOG file so he can tell me. If it works I will let this forum know. BTW, I'm in a GLC 43.

P.S. I also got the ECO Start ON/OFF update and it works great! No more turning that damn thing off every time I start the car!

I reached out to Vladamir with my VIN, unfortunately this doesn't work with my car.

Yeah, I'm not sure it's going to work for my GLC 43 either. Vladimir and I have been going back and forth for a week to see if we can get this to work, but so far no luck. I have some more testing to do tonight, and like I said I will update this thread either way.

I confirmed it will work on my 2018 glc63 but I don't see the advantage for me...it helps others on the road by selecting certain beams and led bulbs for oncoming cars. I already have the upgraded led premium lighting system

This module unlocks all the features that are restricted in the US and Canada. Adaptive high beam plus switches between dipped beams, partial main beam, active light function, cornering light function, motorway mode, enhanced fog lights, adverse weather lighting and city lighting. These are the same features of European cars.

I was e-mailed directly by the AMAZON MODULE guy in Europe that this will indeed work on a 2018 AMG GLC43.

Nice! Can you send me his email so that I can ask him if it works for a 2020 GLC43 as well? Thanks!

That's what I am thinking . I also have the premium lighting system . I have the lights turning when in a curve and side light turning on when turning . Never got fog here in SO CAL so don't know if I got this feature . Also I read that some of the intell light in Europe are connected to GPS and anticipate ROUND ABOUT . Since we don't have those ROUND ABOUT here , I have no idea if that will work here and I don't have GPS ether .

Guys to clarify he contacted me directly through Amazon because I purchased the module through him on Amazon. My suggestion would be to go to the AMAZON MODULE listing
and contact the seller and ask him about the Multi-beam Activator. Keep in mind, I have a 2018 NOT a 2020.

I got my Multibeam upgrade to work on my 2020 GLC 43!

After going back and forth with Vladimir, testing out new upgrade files for the OBD plug, he finally figured out how to make it work. And they really do work! I drove around for 2 hours tonight with my brights on and not one car flashed me. For cars you're following, you can see how the lights create a 'box' of darkness around them so your brights aren't hitting their rear view mirror. And roadsigns do not reflect back at you like the sun because the multibeams adjust for those as well.

I will do a full write up tomorrow (I may just start a new thread). But for now...bed time.

Just like everyone said, Vladimir is the real deal!

Good day,

Would you be able to provide an update? I was considering purchasing this for my 2015 W222, but wanted to hear some feedback if the lights perform as advertised.

Thank you so much.

Sure thing. The lights do perform as advertised! When you're on a really dark road and you set your lights to auto-brightness, they will switch into high beams and stay there, even if another car drives past you or you pull up behind another car. You can actually see the lights actively shutting off where they should. Also, it seems to recognize road signs pretty well and dims the lights on them so they don't glare back at you quite as brightly.

I don't know if Vlad can enable it for your particular car, but if so it's a nice feature. It's costly, but it's also a safety feature, so for me it was justified and I'm glad I did it.

I actually did confirm with him that it would work with my vehicle. I was just curious to know how it functioned and if it was noticeably different. Thank you for replying so quickly.
