Is this true? 2020 GLC63 shows tracks in the HUD?
This is phenomenal. I might have to move to a 2020. Did the non-S also get electronic differential for 2020?

Yes, this is true. Track Pace is a $250 option. I have it. I like it too, but everyone is telling me it's not accurate for 0-60, quarter mile, etc.

we paid for track pace in 2019 and we did not get anything.

my question here is that does the track show in the HUD? so can you see the race track layout and bring zone in your HUD? can you grab a picture?

Like I said, yes lol
Track Pace for 2020. It gives me the option to search for tracks and map them, and even tells me "there are no tracks in the vicinity" where I live. Which is true.
I've never used it, so I can't really give you any details. I just use it to track my 0-60, etc. Which apparently isn't even accurate lmfao

Yes, this is the new Track Pace that finally actually works in the USA. If you bought the old Track Pace you got shafted, because it requires a phone app that was never rolled out in the USA. The new Track Pace now runs on the infotainment display and yes if you have the HUD it displays braking zones etc. and you can see the track layout on the screen and additional information such as your times down to individual sections of the track so you can see how you are doing in comparison to previous laps. Track Pace is standard on the S models. I used it with my 2019 C63S on the Nurburgring in Germany during my ED trip. I don't have the HUD, though, but it was useful to see the upcoming corners of the track. I wear polarized sunglasses, so the HUD doesn't work for me, but if I had planned to frequently go to the track I would definitely have optioned the HUD for Track Pace alone and gotten some non-polarized sunglasses for the track days. It's definitely cool if you go to the track. For the Nurburgring it has all the different courses including the Touristenfahrten course, so it correctly times from start to finish. You just select the track and then it starts timing as soon as you cross the start line and then at the end you can see all your stats directly on the display. No need to download the data to the phone. There is supposed to be a companion phone app, but I think it's the same app as for the older version of Track Pace, so still not available in the USA as far as I know.

This actually reminded me that I never really took a look at my stats. I was getting faster with each lap, but on one lap there was a crash ahead of me. Car looked totaled and the track was closed right after my lap due to the accident. Here are a few pics of my lap stats. Not the fastest, but I was trying not to crash my brand new car and with all the other cars you can't really do best laps.

And regarding the differential, the answer is yes.

More applicable to the Mercedes-AMG GLC63 and GLC63 S's core mission of delivering insane performance in a modern package are the hardware and software updates: An electronically controlled locking rear differential is now standard equipment for both models

OMFG! that is awesome. I always missed having more performance details like I did in my SRT Jeep. this is just a lot of upgrade beyond MBUX. i never paid attention.

That is a nice option.

What is the reason the 0-60 would not be accurate? Thank you

So I have a 2020 GLC43 and on the dashboard, there's a menu called Track Race. However, when I select it, I get a message stating connect the MercedesMe App to access this feature. Of course, I do that, but nothing happens. Does anyone know why, or what is this menu for if it is not the track race app?

Track Pace (btw it's not Track Race) as shown above is an extra cost option for the 43 and 63. It's only included in the 63S. Does your car have the option? The menu item might still be there, because as mentioned above, there's supposed to be a Track Pace app for iOS and Android that will connect to the car to accomplish the same thing, but the app was never released in the North American market. I'm guessing that if you don't have the built-in Track Pace option, then you could still use the phone app if it was available.

For the GLC43, AMG Track Pace is a $250 option.

Yeah, that looks like your car wasn't ordered with Track Pace. You can decode your VIN at the link below and see if it's on the list of equipment. That message makes it sound like you can purchase it after the fact via Mercedes Me, but MB hasn't rolled out the whole in-car purchase feature of MBUX. Eventually, one is supposed to be able to buy/unlock various options of the car via MBUX, but no word on when all that gets rolled out.
