Wheel chirping noise after lowering module
Hey, Everyone;
I did the lowering module I have it set to the low setting and noticed at low speeds <5MPH that there’s a chirping noise coming from the front right wheel without brakes applied.
Happens when driving in a straight line or turning right. Anyone encounter similar problems after lowering?
When suspension is raised wheel squeak goes away.
Thanks!!

Possibly. I was gonna try to get underneath tomorrow and inspect for rubbing and wheel clearance with the suspension strut and knuckle.
Good feeling it’s suspension related bc it’s only present at low ride height (stock minus 32mm).
If I can’t find anything I was going to take the car in for service....
Video attached.

Almost sounds like a brake wear sensor against the rotor, like in the old days, before we got the electrical wear sensor..
check the back metal plate, that sort of goes around the rotor, I had this sort of squeak on my Nissan, and when the wheels were fully turned it would just bend it enough to make contact with the rotor, all I did was put a screwdriver between the metal plate and rotor bent it back about 2-3 millimeters and no more squeak...

Just strange how it happens when it’s lowered only but maybe it’s just a coincidence...

I raised the car up and took it for service; the dealer couldn’t find anything wrong with the suspension and brakes.
After leaving the dealer I lowered it and the noise resurfaced.
kinda stumped.... any thoughts?

Raise it up a few mm at a time and see where it stops making the sound.

Looping back to this - MB dealer said this is noisy front brakes.
It’s a ‘18 with 10K miles and OE brakes but still under factory warranty.
Costly out of pocket repair if I wanted to replace pads and rotors
