GLC63 JB4 Power Gains

Just for giggles I decided to use this http://wallaceracing.com/hpcalculatorquarter.php to calculate horsepower/gains.
Using the averages of all the runs (excluding the 116mph run, since I lifted before the finish line) and using weight of 4,775lb

Stock:
ET average: 12.234
MPH average: 111.2575
Weight: 4,775
Your HP computed from your vehicle ET is 462.68 rear wheel HP and 514.09 flywheel HP.
Your HP computed from your vehicle MPH is 461.91 rear wheel HP and 513.23 flywheel HP.

JB4 MAP2/3:
ET average: 11.5165
MPH average: 118.246
Weight: 4,775
Your HP computed from your vehicle ET is 554.66 rear wheel HP and 616.28 flywheel HP.
Your HP computed from your vehicle MPH is 554.53 rear wheel HP and 616.15 flywheel HP.

JB4 Race MAP:
ET average: 11.305
MPH average: 120.006
Weight: 4,775
Your HP computed from your vehicle ET is 586.37 rear wheel HP and 651.52 flywheel HP.
Your HP computed from your vehicle MPH is 579.67 rear wheel HP and 644.07 flywheel HP.

Great post and nice work! Still haven’t pulled the trigger for which tune to go either Jb4 or EC. Would be interesting to see EC tube performance before and after numbers on our glc’s too. Also curious how well the jb4 would do paired with a tcu tune since you can feel it slowing down torque with shifting.

what year glc, none s? Did you get before and after 60-130?

Thanks, I have a 2020 GLC base. I'm currently running JB4 without any other mods, but I'd also be interested in a full tune in the future. Mainly OBD2 tune that retains the stock tune too. Unfortunately nobody has that yet. As for shifting with the JB4, I haven't driven anything else to compare or notice the difference. However, If there were shifting issues, I don't think I'd be cutting 1.6xx-1.5xx 60' times.

I didn’t think it’s shifting into second by 60’ is it?. Shifting would be faster as would mph and lower et’s with a tcu tune, how much I don’t know.

18bora, went back in my history and picked out a hero run for my 2019 GLC63s when I had it. Best she ran was a 11.89 @115.44 but that was at 60 degrees and 200 DA. You numbers coincide very well with respect to hp / power based on performance run times.

BTW, when you do a launch control, do you feel a major delay in between 1st and second gear shift?

I am trying to get with EC to look into their tune, but I'm impressed by those JB4 numbers! My best stock 0-60 time thus far via dragy is 3.73 (1ft). I've got a 2019 GLC63. Is 3.73 with a 1 foot roll out sound about right? It's exactly 4.0 without the roll out factored. I'm sure their are lots of opinions either way, but did anyone pursue the EC or JB4 in particular because one was less "detectable" by the dealership (assuming you remove the JB4 or go back to stock tune before service.)

At what RPM were you launching the car at?
Did you pool the paddle shifters 3 times to get max launch RPM?
Great video.
You were 0.4 sec faster than my stock 2019 GLC63S AMG.

I won't be removing it before service, as it was a PITA to install. I'll just have service do oil changes without touching anything else.

Thanks, I launched @ 4krpm. What track did you go to?
