New to the forums! I am in the market for a pre-owned GLC 63 and will be potentially trading in my BMW M3.
Just looking for some broad advice on what to look for, what to watch out for, and generally are there any big differences between a 2018, 2019, and 2020?
I am currently looking into a couple of options...one being a 2018 and one being a 2019. Are they all pretty much created equal?
Sorry for my ignorance, but thank you!

Whichever you go for make sure it has the AMG performance exhaust.
I would also look out for the premium pack which is a nice touch - Burmester, keyless entry, pano roof etc
The wood or carbon fibre trim is preferred over the easy to damage gloss black.
I also specifically wanted a 360cam but that was personal preference.
mine also has air balance, drivers pack and heads up display which I believe completes all or most of the options!

My personal opinion but look for the models with the smartphone integration option instead of the navigation package. My 2018 63 has it so I can use apple carplay, which is much better than the factory navigation. I'm also a huge fan of the 360 camera. And of course the performance exhaust is a must.

Personally, I would not go with the non nav package as you lose lots of other nice options. Also the screen is smaller and not as aesthetically pleasing. You can have carplay retrofit for less than £300 but it will cost way more to get the spec the premium (which upgrades the Nav)!Originally Posted by jamz

Different strokes.. Personal preference but I didn't mind the 1" smaller screen and saved $3K without getting the nav package. I much prefer the factory carplay option for pre 2020 models, and I have just about every option I wanted. Totally up to the OP I guess.Originally Posted by Chaznik

but used the difference will be minimal but will miss out on lots of other aspects of the spec unitards. Personally, I avoided any that didn’t have the premiumOriginally Posted by jamz

I would only look at a CPO. Have you seen the way most of us drive our 63's?

Performance exhaust is the ONLY must have IMO. All others are based on your preference only.... not anyone else's haha
