Front window replacement
I need to replace my front windshield on a 2018 GLC 63 SUV. Has anyone done this with window replacement company, not the dealership? I am in SoCal, in the Redlands area if anyone knows a place out here. Thanks.

I had Safelite replace mine and they did a great job. Not cheap if your insurance doesn't pay for it. Luckily mine did!

Will be Glc43 in few weeks
Did it twice already
I replaced mine twice already (high-speed on autobahn) at my official MB dealer, here in Belgium.
however, it is a specialised company who came at the dealer and placed the MB genuine part (you can see it if the signature is on the corner of the windscreen).
price was 1000€ each time.
Otherwise we have Carglass in Europe who does a great job but you don't have the signature on the windscreen.

I just had mine replaced by Safelite using OEM glass. They had me bring it in as they said they need to recalibrate the cameras after replacing the windshield and can't do that part with the mobile service.

If you have the HUD, the composition of the glass is different to a regular windshield. Had big crack on my X3M40 with HUD: thank goodness for the glass insurance because that sucker ended up costing $3500 to replace ($2200 was parts!)

I normally wish my card had the HUD, right now I am glad it doesn't.
