I have the night package on my new, black 43. I already blacked out the chrome on the door handles and the little bit of chrome on the grille bothers me when everything else is blacked out. As an aside, I think Mercedes is lazy for not blacking out at least the handles on something that says "Night Package." I am extremely skeptical of these aftermarket cheap ebay grills from China because obviously the build quality is never as good as OEM but if it's a fairly easy swap, I would swap it out to make a more cohesive blacked out look to the car. Has anyone seen or tried replacing these grills on the refreshed models? From searching on YouTube, it seems kind of a PITA... Any advice appreciated. This is what I am considering: GRILLE LINK

I checked your link ,Grille look good to me .
I installed on of those on my 43 two years ago .The fitting was perfect ,never fade and still look great .
Install was easy without removing bumper .
Word of warning....if you have the Driver Assistance Package with Distronic, some of the sensors are in the grill and if disconnected (required for grill removal), the vehicle will not start until a dealer recalibrates the sensors at a cost of $200-400. My son works in a body shop and they have to take MB vehicles to a dealer to get them recalibrated after replacing grills. If there is a way around taking to a dealer, people in the business don't even know it.

There’s only the front camera in the grill. No sensors. You’re thinking about the windshield and I have heard about calibration need there. Not a factor with this modification.
I do have the driver assistance package with distronic and this was exactly what I was worried about... thanks. May hold off on this then... unless someone can disprove this potential recalibration issue. I thought the emblem hides some of the sensors and its not just the camera?
KGariba... I took mine to a local shop that does wraps and PPF. They wrapped the grill for me and then did a dark smoke PPF on the front star as I have all the driver assistance packages. Got it done in Jan and no issues with the wrap. Know a few guys who did it themselves if you have the patience / attention to detail to do it on your own.
