those pictures were from the android screen on my c63s, today I finally found time to install the 12.3" screen on my glc63. If you install the "WhatsApp" app on your phone and contact DMP, they usually reply quick. After I finished installing my screen today, I forgot where the setting was to tell the screen to use my oem backup cam(\360 cam). I sent them a msg at 4:39pm, and they replied a minute later with the answer. I copied that same Car Display setting from my c63s screen over to my glc63 and part of the screen gets cut off when I used the back up cam, i just have to play with the rest of the display options to see which works best. I wish they had the AMG boot screen loaded by default. I'll msg them tomorrow to send the AMG boot logo to me so I can import it.
Mine is working 99% daily when I start the vehicle it does not recognize the screen. Need to unplug and plug back in. My other issue is the screen brightness. I can't seem to get it bright enough.

hmm you mean the sound? Or the default audio device the car goes to? I never have to unplug the USB from any of mine. As for the screen default audio there is a setting, and for brightness, I have mine to %100, but I agree it would be nice for it to be brighter

I just ordered the 12.3" from dpm for my glc63, I installed one on my c63s with no issues. I also installed a dpm screen for my e90 335i, no issues either. Wife has an iPhone and I have a android. Android car play and wireless apple car play work perfect. DPM also makes digital dashes for our cars but aren't selling them to the states yet :-/

Audio Quality
I’m finding that the dmp design screen has killed the auto quality. If I go into the factory and play satellite radio the quality is amazing but though the screen it’s not so as good. Has anyone else had this?

All those crappy ching chong units are built with cheapo element base and have terrible sound. All of em not just have awful sound but many of em also have background hissing \ humming noises coz they have terrible shielding, poor wiring setup and half *** PCB \ components layout design and engineering. They r all made by 1-2 basement companies there and others just slap their name on it and run marketing so u can buy same stuff in a grey box for 300 or jkfgiwefukjdf branded for 600 lol. I run through 5 of those on my Honda and 3 of em on GLK350, stripped em to the bolt and can say they are all made DIRT CHEAP and they r all just a run for quick buck and a poor attempt to fill those market gaps and have around 0 tech support and updates , most of em didnt even come with installation manuals.

Has anyone got the AUX activated via a dongle ? I have done some research and if I get a DAC it can fix the sound issue but I need the AUX activated first.
