I really like our new GLC 43 SUV. The one thing I DON'T like is the Eco Stop/Start. Is there any way to NOT have to shut it off every time we drive? I've tried to save the "Individual" setting with it turned off, but that didn't seem to work. Is this something the dealer can do?
Sorry if it's been asked before; I did a search but nothing came up.
Thanks in advance!

Yes, through aftermarket means you buy an OBD module to achieve this. It is called ECO/Start stop last mode OBD module

I went the ODBII plug route as well. There's a guy named Vladimir who is well-known on these boards. He did my ECO Start/Stop and Multibeams, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Email him your VIN and ask if he can do the ECO Start/Stop for you - canfiltermb@gmail.com

Vladimir is now charging $199 + 15 shipping and only accepts Bitcoins for ECO start-stop module.

My 2021 GLC 63s turns that autostart off when im out of C comfort mode. I made Individual mode with loud exhaust, S setting for engine and C for suspension and this combo works great for daily and this autostart thing doesnt affect this I mode. Dunno if 43 has same logic for autostart being inoperable out of C mode , try to play with your settings and see.

Haven't had much luck with that strategy. I tried making the "Individual Setting" or "I" setting with Sport and Eco off. On one startup, it asked if I wanted to continue with that setting and it kept Eco off. Most of the time that doesn't happen. My next step is to see if the dealer can and will turn it off, then if they can't or won't, I'll consider one of the modules mentioned earlier.

It does but unlike an E-Class if you turn off auto start? stop! by going to S+, switching back to comfort will re-engage auto start? STOP! on our C-Class but like you mentioned if you were to go straight to individual and will be driving in individual, it shouldn't be an issue.

On my car this start \ stop works only and exclusively when driving mode is set to C. As soon as i pick any other mode this function stops working completely, every time im not in C and stop the car this A sign pops up in yellow color meaning start \ stop is inoperable. Even if i stand at the red light with A sign active in green color and engine is off and I change mode from C to any other one my engine starts immediately and it wont turn off at when i stop the car till i switch it back to C. Go figure.

In my 2017 C 43 eco start stop kicks in when the car is within the right parameters, so battery voltage is deemed sufficient, engine temperatures are good, cabin temperature in the summer is not too much higher than what is set as the engine needs to kick in to keep AC running (if it is the engine won't turn off). If I were in sport+ mode in traffic and switch it to comfort the auto stop start will be enabled and it does kick in. When I put the vehicle in comfort with start stop enabled then comes to a stop, engine shuts off as normal, putting it in sport+ turns the engine on but unlike what you experienced, my 2017 putting it back in comfort it does turn off the engine again.
I believe the latter behaviour you mentioned and experienced which I bolded possibly has to do with one or both things 1. Model year differences and software changes especially if you have a facelift with MBUX, or software changes in general to the ECU or various other components such as those that control the battery 2. Being a 63 AMG model with the V8 it is designed that way.

I also paid $199 plus shipping, but with USD instead of bitcoin (this was two years ago). A bit of a hassle I suppose to send bitcoin if you don't already have a crypto account, but hey, it'll get rid of ECO Start/Stop for good so you have to decide if it's worth it. For me it would be, because I hated it.
