Lug Nuts Stripped on my CPO 2020 GLC63
It was equipped with Michelin Latitude Sport 3 Summer tires.
Today I ordered Pirelli Scorpion Zero All-Season Plus tires from Tire Rack and they will do a mobile install on Wednesday the 19th.
I went out to check and make sure there were not locking lugs on the car and noticed that 2 of my Lug Nuts on my passenger side front wheel were stripped.
I was shocked to find they were only in there hand tight, I was able to unscrew them by hand.
Then I noticed one of the other lugs on that wheel was larger than the other 2 lugs.
So, 3 of the 5 lugs on that wheel were screwed up. I've included pics.
I am going to call the dealership Monday, but in the meantime I ordered new lugs.
Are these correct for this car?
I might call them Monday and have them work something out with my local dealer.
Also, as a CPO'd car I am surprised the passenger side headlight has condensation in it and there is a slight tear in the drivers seat by the stitching.
When I bought the car it was a pouring rain and the car was outside, so I missed things I would normally have caught.
The lug nuts are a safety issue and I have taken the car on the highway back from the dealer 55 miles and up and back to the shore which is 100+ miles each way, I am thankful the wheel did not come off or sheer off the other lugs.

I replaced the two stripped lugs with the new ones, they are perfect.
The larger one I believe is a swollen lug, I ordered a 17.5 socket which I know will be too small for that one, but I might need it on some others that are slightly swollen, and I also ordered a 18.5/19.5 combo socket.
I think the 18.5 will probably work as a 18mm would not fit and a 19mm was too large.
18.5 fits over the lug, but it won't break it loose, feels like it will strip the lug.
What really gets me is....
There is no way they truly certified this car. They will hear about this tomorrow for sure.

I would also take all of the pictures etc. and send a letter to MBUSA about the CPO program and how you were treated. You should push this to the limit and get everything you can. They sold you a non-ready and CPO'd car that was not verified.

They are also putting on the other 18 lugs (I already replaced two) of the new ones.
I will save all of the old ones.
After my new tires are installed Wednesday, I will be contacting the dealership and if necessary Mercedes.
I have a 2015 Porsche 911 Turbo S that I bought CPO.
After 1 year and driving it for 2k miles (I bought it with 38K) it failed inspection for worn Carbon Ceramic Rotors ($10K each) and they said my brakes were only 3mm-4mm.
I contacted the original dealership and they replaced all 4 brakes at no charge (a $4k job).
The mechanic who certified it thought they were 8mm new (they are 12mm new) and let them through at 4mm.
The rotors were fine, the other Porsche service dept was looking for a $40K job,
To triple check I brought the car to a 3rd Porsche dealer who confirmed the brakes were 3mm-4mm, but the rotors were fine.
I think they just throw CPO labels on without actually doing the inspection, but I will push them if anything is wrong.
Took my garage 30 minutes to get the passenger side front wheel off due to the swollen lug.
The other 3 wheels were ok.
They then proceeded to put on all 20 new lugs.
The aftermarket lugs are a much higher quality one piece design.
Tomorrow I will update after my new Tires are installed for anyone who has these same issues in the future.
