My used GLC 63S came with winters on 20" rims, so I picked up a nice used set of 21" AMG wheels to use with all season or summer tires. However, the nearly new Continental Cross Contact LX Sport tires that came mounted on the 21" rims are about 4.6% larger in diameter than the 20" winters (e.g. winter fronts: 265/45/20, Continental fronts: 275/45/21). Everything else - rim width, wheel offset, tire width - is fine - and the oversize Continentals will fit without any rubbing. I know the conventional wisdom is not to go more than a few percentage points bigger or smaller in diameter, but are other significant reasons other than your speedo being even more out of whack to avoid over- or under-sized tires?

I have 295 on the front and 335 on the back on my 21 63s coupe and have it lowered and no problems.. so I assume the 275 is fine if that’s what you are asking..Originally Posted by gdbccb

I would call or email Premier Tire and ask them what the specs are on the Vossen HF5 Satin black 22” that they have pictured on their website. They will know if you say Sarah’s black GLC 63s coupe. Frank, Zsolt or Carmen know it well. There are no spacers. Not sure exactly what the offset is. Definitely ask for 335 back and 295 front. And get it lowered.
