Arrow GLC63 Used - Buy or not

Hey There,

My 18 mint GLC43 was totaled about a month ago. I have no interest in the current 43/63 and want to buy used/CPO. I think I want to go with a GLC63 this time. Is the build quality still good over the last 3 years? I’ve heard things were really poor quality from 2020 on.

Anyone have advice on staying with a 2019 or later years ok?
I am also considering the Macan GTS - feels much slower than the 63 and skipped it last time because I thought it was slower than the 43.

My 2020 GLC63 seems to be built well, I picked it up CPO last August and have loved owning it. Considered the Macan as well but the V8 is a dying breed, I want to own these while I still can. Once the warranty is up I'll get it tuned, etc. to make it even more exciting. I never drove a 43, so cannot compare, but the 63 is amazing.

thanks for the feedback. The v8 is tempting.

GLC 63s Coupe
I have the 63s Coupe; I think it's worth picking up the V8 version. The sound that the engine makes puts a smile on my face every time I drive. If I were you, I'd pick up a 2020 or 2021, but I would lean toward a 2020 model if you want the Burmeister sound system and the digital instrument cluster since many of the 2021 models were missing those features due to the chip shortage during that model year.

No complaints on my 2020 GLC-63 picked up Jan of 2022. There simply is not many of these around. I've seen 1 other on the road in the past 2 years. Plenty of power plus capable of modding to have much more (for a hefty price).

I have had 2 43’s. Then bought a new 2021 GLC63s. It is awesome. Absolutely no issues in 3 years. Night and day difference over the 43. Not even in the same realm. You will love the feel of the 63! 2020 + there are new intelligent drive upgrades and newer steering wheel etc and infotainment so I would not be afraid to go 2020+. I also have a very good relationship with my dealership and since I’m in Toronto there are great places to service the car when needed so depends on how you feel about how you will get taken care of when a problem comes up.

MBUSA.com just updated to 2026 MY. The GLE Coupe looks identical. Maybe the head/tail lights are different, but I'm too lazy to walk outside.
