2024 GLC 43 AMG Acceleration
I just purchased a 2024 GLC 43 AMG and the acceleration is hesitant compared to my wife’s 2024 GLE 53 AMG. This is just regular acceleration during daily travel. I’m still breaking in the engine. I know the GLC 43 is new to at least the US. Has anyone experienced hesitant acceleration?

If the vehicle itself is an object of beauty, so is what powers it: the AMG M129l 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Developed with painstaking craftsmanship and ultramodern production methods, the system derives its innovations directly from the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1TM team. It’s turbocharged with an electric exhaust gas turbocharger that allows for optimal responsiveness at any rpm. It delivers maximum efficiency, and maximum thrills.

I also own a 2024 GLC43. Your wife's GLE Is blessed with a 6 cylinder which naturally will feel less hesitant. However, the 4 cylinder in the GLC43 will smooth itself out once it is broken in (at least mine did).

From my understanding it should have power constantly from the turbocharger at any rpm. Below is from the Mercedes website.

Im very disappointed with the response compared to my AMG GLC 43 2018 6 cylinder.
I’m hoping this is going to be a running phase.
Did yours sort its self out after the running in period ?
Thank you

im finding on my 24 amg 43 that it varies pulling away from a stop. I've also noted that when you can let off the brake a couple seconds before you need to move it responds much faster which tells me that while the turbo does have an electric motor to keep it spun up for boost, it's not spinning enough or at all when at a complete standstill. I always drive in sport which also helps. once its moving its more than powerful enough to do almost anything you could need it's just that hesitancy thats almost unacceptable in a car costing this much making this much horsepower and torque.
