2024 glc43 dash mbux console creaks

2020 AMG GLC 43
I have a 2020 GLC 43 and was shocked at how squeaky the car is. Took it to the dealer twice for different things, then ended up buying foam tape and sticking it wherever I found a squeak. The biggest surprise I had was because of the acoustics of any car, where you think the squeak is coming from isn't always right. Don't always trust your ear. For me it sounded like it was the center console but it was the sunroof. Jammed a crap ton of foam tape around the whole thing between the headliner and the sunroof and that fixed 90% of it. Oh, and getting rid of the awful run-flats for regular tires helped immensely.
Overall, I'm very disappointed in the build quality of such an expensive car. From what I've heard, Mercedes has outsourced a lot of the assembly, and it shows.

Wow... thanks for your input. I'm also shocked at the build quality . I've seen mainstream cars in the 30-40K range that are whisper quite.
This is insane , I'm also hearing rattles in back seat seat near trunk cover , not sure if you've experienced this also?

Nope, nothing on my end from the trunk cover. I will say though that the squeaks mostly worked themselves out after breaking the car in, so don't despair. Sharp edges become dull edges eventually, if you know what I mean.
But yeah, I had a Lexus for 14 years and not only did it not squeak ever, it also never saw a repair shop. If they weren't so damn fugly these days I would have bought another in a heartbeat.

2025 E450 All Terrain + 2024 GLC 43 (lemon)
Mine did the same. Recorded it on a video and showed it to the service guys. They took care of it. They said they tightened the screen as it was improperly installed. It’s Whisper quiet now.

Just wondering how the heck do they tighten the console / screen without taking everything out .? I'm starting to get annoyed at the creaks

Yup, I'm on the same page here. 2024 GLC43, picked it up at 20kms and it's now at almost 1700kms. Within the first 2 weeks I'd wanna say of having it, it started to sound like the center console area was squeaking. It wasn't all the time, but still it was annoying and ridiculous that a 100k CAD car squeaks. I know it's no g wagon or an s class or anything, but c'mon it's still a mercedes. I've changed to winter tires like other people said tires may be an issue, but nope, the squeaking is still there.

For the creaking I can't stand it and will bring to dealer to fix it whichever way it takes

Ok booked an appointment with dealer to fix . It's a bunch of incredibly annoying creaks over and around the screen and vents . It happens when car warms up.
If it's only a matter of stuffing some padding between the creases . No way a car of this price range should have these quality issues
