Latest software update fix my jerky shifts after year and a half living with it.

Mercedes-Benz service bulletin LI27.60-P-079083 (issued 1/28/2026) addresses harsh 1-2, 2-3, or 3-4 shifting and jolting in Model 254 (GLC43 AMG) with engine M139 and transmission 725.164. The cause is insufficient software application; the fix is a software update for the VGS control unit (A 001 902 20 34).

Did you notice the difference after the update right away? I had the SB done 3/13/26 and still feel the hard shifting, did you have to drive for days to notice the difference? My dealer drove my car 65 miles in 24 hours and when I caught the mileage they said they had to drive the car for test drive, did your dealer do that? Attached the record of what they did, was yours the same procedure? I am currently looking for lemon law lawyer, I have had it car been in the shop total 20 days since November 2024 when I bought the car 5 service visits for same issue. If anyone knows a lemon law lawyer who had succes to get MB to buy the car back please let me know. Thanks

Felt it out the door and it has been smooth so far in every gear. Most noticeable was 1st to 2nd gear like night and day, very smooth shifting.
