Noise coming from dashboard
I recently started to notice a very faint noise that seems to be occurring when the ventilation fans are on, with or without air conditioning.
the best way to describe the noise is like tiny critters running somewhere inside the dashboard. I actually thought maybe a small animal had nested in the car, but the “scurrying” stops completely when I turn off the fan.
Plus, there are no mice or rats where I live and the car is always parked indoors.
Has anyone else come across this?

Since day one, I’ve noticed a noise coming from behind or underneath the dashboard, especially when driving on the highway at speeds over 120 km/h. It happens mainly when there are no cars in front of me, as if the airflow directly hitting the car triggers the sound.
It doesn’t seem like a normal plastic creak — it sounds more like something loose or poorly secured that moves or vibrates with the air pressure.
I’ve taken the car twice to an official Mercedes workshop, but they haven’t been able to fix it. I also recorded videos of the issue. ( link to my video: https://streamable.com/wololg)
Did you ever find out what was causing your noise?
Thanks in advance!
