Oh, I got rid of that by going to Control Panel/Edit Options/Thread Display Options/Subscribed Threads/Related Threads and check "Disable Related Threads"
I have been following this thread for a few weeks. Thank you to everyone sharing all the information for this spectacular vehicle. I purchased my 3rd MB 6 months ago. 2018 E63 after an 8 month wait. It was worth every minute. My wife and I are expecting our first child in January and the GLE450 is the perfect addition for our family (wish the GLE53 was available on launch ) . I just placed my order yesterday with my salesman. He allowed me to sit and use the Mercedes star ordering system which is updated from 2017 when I last used it to order my E63. It is nice but I ran into some issues which I think will be fixed in the next DOG, I hope.... I also hope someone from MB corporate is following this thread.
1. The AMG interior package is not compatible with the Driver Assistance package. I had do go with the DAP since it has all the safety features which are probably the biggest reason I buy mercedes.
2. When I select the MBUX package i can not select the 3D surround sound premium audio. Probably a tech incompatibility issue which i can live with.
3. The MB system lists option 810 as Burmeister and 811 as Bang and Olufsen. This is an error which I am sure will be corrected. I had to select 810 since I wanted the MBUX package.
4. I can not select the premium Black full Nappa interior with a fully loaded vehicle. It made me select 201 Black leather. I hope this is just an error. The upgrade to full Nappa is expensive but very worth it IMO. It would be sad to have a close to fully loaded vehicle without the option of Nappa.
5. Energizing PLUS package is not selectable with a fully loaded car although I can manually add all the individual options as an add on. Seems like a glitch.

Yeah, some of these may not change, but there are errors I'm sure which is why the DOG is called "preliminary." Hopefully an update will be here within a couple weeks.

You can do multiple pics & docs. Just select all using “manage attachments” and upload. You can rearrange in the post preview. Enter your location using the Control Panel.

Tried manage attachments multiple times. Dont know why I have to add my location. Prefer not to
Idaho isn’t exactly known for oppressive heat either. We were schooled about the advantage of Ceramic coated widows on a 75-80 degree sunny day. While taking cars for a test drive we jumped in one that was much cooler than others. It had the Ceramic treatment. It seems to me that it’s more the solar effect vs ambient temps that make the difference. After doing ours there are two noticeable changes. The sun beating through the windows & Pano roof is now much better....cooler. The car is also cooler after it has been parked in the sun while shopping. I got the windshield, 2 side windows & Pano done for about $400. My wife suggested it a few weeks after we took delivery in July so we had a good before and after comparison. She loves it!

Good to hear this. I was going back and forth on this because I live in tropical weather, very hot and humid, and the heat issue was putting me off a bit. But was also thinking if window tint or some other window treatment would help with that. Was it installed on the inside or outside?
