Potential build sheet
what do you guys think about this potential build sheet?
I need to get a car for a posting in Kenya for delivery this summer. What do you guys think of this build spec?
I inquired about the gls too, and the rep said that woild be available end of March! Now I don't know which to choose.

- I would not get Black for Kenya, but that's a personal decision
- I would get black headliner
- No need for a trailer hitch?

Other than the color black, I think it a great list! Still deplorable that MB still makes you pay to have Keyless Go and start! Standard on most luxury vehicles.

I prefer the black. It is more suiting than the standard un white.
Also I think mercedes look better in black.
Why the black headliner?
Right now, I'm in the US, and I use the tow hitch for uhaul and a bike rack and such. But what will I use it there for?
I think the keyless start is standard, but it baffles me all the standalone options there are. There are no packages like us spec cars where it is bundled in.

The US packages have their drawbacks, but make things simpler and less expensive.

The black exterior is a personal decision. I think it makes a car hot and is a beetch to keep clean. The black headliner again is a personal decision; grey will make the cabin airier, black is more sophisticated. I have no idea if you'd use a hitch; just seems like SUVs should have them for true utility.

That's nice that it's standard now. But knowing mercedes it could be taken off again for a model year and brought back again.
I would order the hitch if it was the American square 2" hitch receiver.
The only one available to me, and for most overseas markets I suspect is the drop down hitch ball l; which is 1000€ plus and is not compatible with my thule bike rack. So kind of useless.
Regardless, I'm still debating whether to wait for the new gls or not. And I've yet to hear bkck from JLR about pricing, so that's also a factor.

I think what you’re referring to is this. But still I would need to order the trailer package which is an extra 1000+ plus a new bike rack.
