funny I never saw this thread LOL... never mind it a sticky.

Picked her up July took just over 5 weeks from order to arrival I guess we got lucky.

Here she is at the dealer when we took her home. We opted for the AMG macchiato beige leather with diamond stitching was worried about he light color but so far it been ok.

Had her xpeled top to bottom .

I do want to change the wheels to something like the black spoked ones like our 43 GLE Coupe had... working on that.

Congrats! That's a gorgeous build, especially the Machiatto Designo Interior. Enjoy the beast!

The 580 or 53? I wanted to swap my 580 grill to a blacked out AMG grill but the dealership said it wouldn’t fit. I then resorted to getting quotes to wrap all the little individual ugly diamonds. Either one or both, I’d black them out.

You might look around the Forum. I’m almost certain that the change has been done on a few 450’s…580 SB the same.

They are available but are aftermarket as the 580 OEM grille opening is not the same as the OEM AMG grille. All Black ones listed on ebay and other sites. TIP - get one with the back support bracket for the easiest fit.

Not sure if this is the correct place to post these photos but I couldn't find a sticky thread for 2022 GLE Owner's Pictures. If it's not okay, please let me know and I'll remove them. My 2022 GLE 350 4Matic build just arrived last Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Order was placed on June 18, 2021. I was expecting delivery 2nd decade of October so it arrived 3 weeks early. Interior is Macchiato Beige with Natural Grain Walnut. I lucked out and the charging pad does work! The only thing that was left off that I had ordered was Augmented Reality and the extra airbags that I optioned in for the back seat area. My sales consultant isn't sure why the extra airbags were left off the build.

I've included a close-up of the heated and cooled cupholders. I was surprised to find that you can't resize the cupholders for smaller/larger cups as you can with the regular cupholders, but I'm still very glad I went with that option because it works great! I can't believe how cold it gets for cold beverages! One more thing to note: I've had leather in every car/SUV I've ever owned but decided to go with MB Tex this time around since I like how it looks and love the ease of maintenance. So far, so good!

Heated and cooled cupholders.

@WindInMyHair that looks good. I’d be paranoid that my daughter would sneak a cherry popsicle into the back seat and then say, “well mommy gave it to me.”

I'm new to roof boxes so not sure what is considered normal, but the Vector is supposed to be their most aerodynamic model. Wondering what your experience is and if perhaps I should try to adjust the position of the Aeroblade Edge bars and box.

Oh my!

@EddieKBG what did you do (specifically the grill) to “black it out?” Painted, wrapped?

Everything in the front is all painted and than wrapped in ppf. The whole front bumper ans grill were disassembled. It was a little time consuming but nothing shines like a piano black paint.
Only the window moldings and roof rails were vinyl wrapped.
