I ordered up the 3m tape so we'll see how steady my hand is. By the time I decided to add the night package to my order, it was already locked. I really just wanted the window trim and wheels as I wasn't fully sold on the mirror caps and other black trim.
This was my first try on a car but I had done some decal work on toys. I bought the Rapid Tac cleaner and Application fluid rather than use a drop of dish soap in water. I think the easiest way to get a straight line is to start on the most visible side and then trim the other side in place. I put too much App fluid on the tape and it took a long time to get it to stick on the underside of the horizontal strip. I was quoted $400-$450 on the phone or I would have paid to have it done.
I started the vinyl wrap on the window trim. Took about 4 hrs to do just the back windows. Not bad for a first time wrapper! I'll have to redo the upper passenger trim since I cut it a little short and you can see a tiny bit of chrome.
Anyone know how to remove the front door mirrors? That will definitely help whenever I get around to do the fronts.
Some minor stress lines from doing the curves but I'm good with it for now. At least it looks good from afar!

Just picked up my GLE450 (2019) with almost all the options in Selenite Grey. Premium Plus, Tech Pack Plus and Driving Assistance Package.
Very, Very pleased with it indeed and a real improvement on my last GLE350 and the GLE43 Coupe I had. Loving the big screen and the head up display. Purchased the dash cam option as well. Really happy it has the 20inch wheels as I found the bigger ones on my GLE Coupe I had gave a harsh ride. Did consider de-chroming it but have decided against this now as I think the chrome and the grey work well together. Just had it ceramically coated like my last one.
2019 Model with almost all the options. 9k miles on the clock.

I screwed up when ordering the car and for some reason thought that the AMG style option is $6-7K. Well now it is costing me that much to upgrade to it. Already have most of the parts painted and ready for installation, and new wider wheels from Vossen, but going trough some ideas to change up the AMG kit a little
First time Mercedes owner! So excited that I made the right choice! Coming from 2018 Maserati Levante, the 2021 GEL 450 is every bit better except the engine, even though Mercedes website claim GLE 450 has more power 362hp vs 345hp, 0-60 5.5 sec vs 5.8 sec but I just feel Levante is more responsive in every gear and that sound... Just Amazing!
Alright, back to my brand new GLE 450, got the car on 22nd of this May, it's that same day dealership starting to add a $2000 premiun on all of their cars, due to chip shortage and logistics delay... Mine was like the last one or two purchased without paying the Premium!
Just had a little regret that mine doesn't come with air suspension and running board. Other than that, I just wanna say it's amazing! Love that 21" wheel! And the walnut wood interior is just beautiful!

The car is in the processing of full EXPEL stealth, I should have the car by next week. Very excited!
