Black Side Claddings
Hello All,
I occasionally browse AutoTrader for new GLEs when I found photos of this one. This is the first one I’ve seen with the option: D24 Black Side Claddings. I’m not fan, but someone in MB development must have thought it had some market.

Black Side Claddings (D24)
Works better on the Macan - this comes off as Mercedes copying, albeit less successful on the larger, less sporty vehicle. I don't think they will find may takers.

Your GLE looks gorgeous Greg!! Mount Hood is a great place to snowboard I heard even through the summer months. I am jealous now and cannot wait much for ours.

I will post comments tomorrow. Curve mode is nice, but it only works in the Comfort setting - what were they thinking? If it worked in Sport it would be perfect. Level 3 is fairly pronounced. Anyhow, I have no comparison, but handling is very good. And comfort is very good in Comfort mode.

Orange thingy in headlight
That is the side reflector, required in the US & Canada front & rear - Mercedes has done a nice job integrating them into the light housings rather than sticking them on a fender as is often done. The Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards are laws that are implemented (issued) by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

That black side cladding is ridiculous and looks out of place....

I just wish they made polar white with a metallic layer as the designo Diamond White metallic wasn't looking pure white at all, especially on an overcast day.
