GLE issues

these ripples were here from day one. It seems to be something to do with how the leather was laid when it was stitched on rather than normal stretching you see with use. Even at the seams in the last picture, the leather is starting to tear a little. Has anyone else experienced this?

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Send the car to dealer before, the keep the car for a week, and cant find how. Dealer told me they cant repeat the problem, so they cant fix it.
I’m very disappointed too! I already contacted my guy at my dealership about the seats. This is not Mercedes Benz quality the way it should be especially a car costing so much.
if MB doesn’t take responsibility for their screw up, no need to buy their cars, overpriced and mediocre quality. We certainly won’t be buying MB ever again. Not worth it. Huge headache and a money drain

Vendor problem. US vendor AFAIK...
Have it replaced. MB will do that.
It’s it as much as a “vendor” issue but rather a MB Corp issue. MB is losing grip on Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
Back in 2012, when I leased a Ford Focus SEL hatch (excellent little car by the way), I was sold the idea that I was getting a pearl white finish, not a solid white finish. On delivery day, the sales guy asked me if I saw my car outside, to which I said no. He pointed it out, and I said no, that wasn't my car. I asked for pearl white. Bring in the Senior Director and long story short, they reordered another car with the colour I was expecting.

Been less than 2 weeks since I got the car and I really didn't notice the seat condition until a couple of days ago, unfortunately. I did contact my guy at Rallye Motors and he's already getting me an appointment to bring my car into the shop. My guy said don't worry he got my back and it will be taking care of regarding the seats inside the GLE.

- we have the panoramic glass sunroof and have had constant door frame creaking, especially going over ramps / uneven surfaces. It feels the whole vehicle frame shifting. The dealer has had the vehicle numerous times and replaced all door seals , them lubricated a number of times. Still creaks. They can’t do anything about it. So I’ve given up on it.
Luxury has a new name “ expensive rubbish”
Lost time I spoke to MB head office customer advocacy group, they really don’t like taking responsibility for anything and everything is “ normal and within range “
it was my wife’s idea to buy this heap of expensive rubbish because she didn’t like the way the Lexus looked. Sigh 😔

The dealer greased it them continue to squeak, then replaced the seals, still squeaked, on and on it went.
The dealer must’ve used a Mercedes product, that’s why it didn’t work.
Found it cheaper by $1.50 on eBay authorized Honda dealer‘s page.
It should not happen, but as long as MB is taking responsibility it is also not so bad.
If I could get brand new seats in a year or two under warranty, and live with the wrinkles until then, it would be my preference over getting it now.
Since the wrinkles are mostly cosmetic it is not a big deal, and his way a wearable item gets a new life and it is also a better sale value for the whole car.
Seats condition is one of the first things inspected.
You can sit back and relax
