GLE accessories

Well, if you'd done a search you would have found them earlier in this thread. The OEM ones do stick up to allow sunroof opening clearance, I assume.

The link you posted is helpful in terms of finding OEM equipment because, honestly, even now, I can't figure out how to go to MBUSA and navigate my way to the cross bars you posted.
If anyone else has any leads on cross bars that do not stick up far above the side rails, I'd be appreciative of your input.

Have you seen the ones at https://configurator.mercedes-benz-a...ransporter=car ? I got the part number from there and then found them for sale at https://www.mbonlineparts.com/oem-pa...ils-1678903000
I recall GregW bought them and commented on the new/improved attachment mechanism?

I did do a search, and the results that came up were of no use (see below). Also, I remember seeing your earlier posts about the crossbars you purchased and, as I mentioned in my post, I'm looking for crossbars that do not stick up as high as the ones you purchased.

Yes, the search function is cumbersome. Helps to start with the model (V167) rather than the overall forum. You first have to search for the threads, then search each thread for posts. Not ideal. I can see how it is a turnoff, especially for those who don't spend a lot of time on here.

Slightly off-topic but I also had major problems with the Search function until I did the following:
1- Next to the search box, click the dropdown and choose "Advanced".
2- In the bottom left, choose Show Results as "Posts" (instead of as "Threads"). Otherwise you get a generic result for the thread, but not the specific posts that have the keywords you're looking for. With hundreds of responses in some threads, that's next to useless.
3- In the bottom right, around two thirds of the way down the "Search in Forum(s)" list, choose only the "GLE Class (V167)" forum, not the default "Search All Open Forums". Note that if you're doing this on mobile, you may have to actively de-select the "All Open Forums" in addition to selecting the specific v167 forum. Otherwise you'll get results from totally unrelated forums/vehicles that could be years old.
With these options, search for keywords became usable for me

I decided to take a risk ($16.88 ) and ordered the coin tray (which I didn't get with my car) from these guys.
Also ordered the 3rd row all-season floor mats (got first and second row from dealer).
Their prices are quite a bit lower than dealer list prices, though a lot of that is offset by the $19 shipping charge since these are very cheap items. Savings would be a lot more noticeable for more expensive items. At least I'll find out if they're legit.

How did your coin tray work out? And, can you share the link where it was purchased?

Haven't received it yet (ordered Monday), will update when I get it. The purchase link is in my post, I made "coin tray" a hyperlink to the page I ordered from. Just click it

My Weathertech floor liners came in. They now have a third row available also. I prefer the weathertech trunk liner to the oem with the squares that everything gets hung up on. Anyone order the all weather oem’s yet?
#159
If possible, could you take a picture of it when you receive it and post? The MB site doesn't show a pic of it. I have in mind what kind of product will work, like the one I got for my GLC43, but don't want to spend the money if it's too far off that. Thanks.

I have the same Weathertech floor liners and trunk liner. I agree, they are better than the OEM liners.

Here's pic's of the Mercedes tray. I usually keep a pen in the upper area. The aftermarket might be the factory tray backdoor from the China plant making them for Merc. First is out of the compartment, second in....will slide forward. About 2.5" deep.

Many thanks. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but better than nothing I suppose.

Her Audi is even smaller and the cup holders almost unusable, they are so small and close together.

I see Ron already posted pictures, but happy to post mine if what I receive from mbonlineparts.com looks different. I called 3 times throughout the day to check on the status of my order from Monday night, always got their voicemail. I then emailed them and they replied nearly instantly saying it should ship out today. Just got a FedEx tracking number, should arrive on Monday.

I posted on another thread but this is probably where it belongs. Mud Guards for AMG body without Running Boards. $80 and 17 days from China. These are not fastened, just pushed in place so a few small gaps that will disappear with install.

console tray
A pic of the console tray ordered from China. Came in within a few weeks of order. It has kind of a brown felt-ish covering, and came with little leather-like inserts with AMG on it. I took those out. Otherwise, decent quality, and the hole for the usb-c connection is in the correct place. At about $38 usd, it isn't cheap, but it's effective and serves my purpose sufficiently. Works for me.

Just to close the loop on this, I did receive the coin tray and the 3rd row all-season mats from mbonlineparts.com, they arrived 1 week after I placed the order. I never posted pictures of the cointray because it looked identical to the pictures that the others posted previously. So, no complaints from me about the parts or the seller.
